Hi Rob. While I wasn't paying attention, this fine album was featured. I'm so glad it was and am sorry I missed it at the time. I still love the spider's web and really enjoyed the scenery of Sker house too. The different techniques with a touch of color included is quite lovely. I so enjoyed my visit this evening. I wish you all the best in the coming New Year. Dynna in MI.

Hi Rob...Wonderful Album and Congratulations. I totally agree with the poor color can make a great B&W!! I exerienced that myself just recently. You have done an excellent job with these and I am also a great fan of Sepia...as there is just something mystical about the shades of Gray and Tones!! Great work, and you have excelled!! Love Three Crosses and Spiders Web is just awesome!! Have a really great day....Kind regards, Em from Aussie

Hello-congratulations on your featured album...especially like the golf bag - superimposed or could I even ask how this was shot? I've already downloaded "Vale of Neath Waterfalls", a real nice composition here. Haven't even started to look over the rest of your albums, but know that I will along with hundreds of others looking at your site or they should be and getting a grandiose education while they're at it. Do visit my site when you have the chance. Thank you for your insights. Ron - Oregon

Rob - a great idea and very well executed. Well deserving being the feature album of today. I would like to see the Llangollen railway in colour sometime as it is in a very scenic area - if you could do that could you just straighten it a bit at the same time? (Not a criticism, just a comment) Did you do these in Photoshop or similar? All the pros now reckon that the best black and whites are shot as colour and changed to mono in Channel Mixer, Whether you did them that way or not I dont know but whatever method you used certainly worked very well. Congratulations and I am now going to sit back and browse happily through the resy of your albums. Peter in Western Australia

Congratulations on your featuring. I differ with you about the title of the album, as choice of subject and composition are very important and more or less independent from the use of colour or black and white. But if you wish to give your pictures an 1850's atmosphere, as you clearly did, then you succeeded fully, with the exception of the photo with the red colour streaks, I think you should remove it.

By the signings here, I think this is my own personal album. (-: I can hardly believe it. Anyway, I have to say that the spiderweb is just the most excellent photo. I'm so glad you got to capture that in photography. Just like diamonds strung together. A gift from nature, for sure. Have a great day, Rob. Dynna

Hi Rob. The additions are just great. I really enjoy the soft edges you put on some of the photos. I think that musket made an excellent subject too. Loved that rocky river and I wouldn't have ever thought of turning my water photos into black and white but I can see they really turn out well. Great job. Thanks for visiting my Nov.'s eve album and your kind comments. Dynna
