This album makes me want to go there this spring/summer! I need to visit WV, 'cause I haven't been yet, and I have a goal of seeing every state at least once before I die! I have only about 12 to go!

Beautiful album! Great shots of water movement and light. Interesting how the boulder appears to sit alone at the bottom of the falls. (Hope to shoot waterfalls when I finish with Lighthouses.) WV is indeed a beautiful state! - Miss DeeAnne :)

Thank you for your kind words in my guestbook. Your choice (as well as many others in the featured album)as your favorite photo was actually taken several years ago, when I was still shooting with a "point & shoot" camera. This fall we are returning to the Tetons, so maybe I can capture some similar images of that area, now that I have some better equipment. Love your waterfall shots in this album. Jon

Hi Bill and Kay, I can see why you liked my album with the falls in it. I absolutely love waterfalls and as you have seen in my album, I went back to see how frozen it would get. I was a little surprised to find that it froze up totally, and even more surprised to find those two young guys going to climb up it. When I was standing in front of the frozen falls, you could hear the water rushing underneath the ice, but that didn't slow those guys down a bit. My sweetie is my ride when I want to go take pics, but that has a drawback, he has absolutely no patience so I didn't get to see them climb all the way up, but on the way back, I did get him to stop and the two guys were almost at the top! It was great to watvh them climb, even though I didn't see them climb from the bottom! Your album with those beautiful falls is wonderful! You have captured Blackwater Falls very nicely! Nearly all my travel is between Richmond and Princeton WV, so I do get to see the mountains, but not so much anymore.
