winter 28 and 29 - i love these lonely street shots! i finally got one myself but i needed just a little more light to make it really standout (in my infared album). you, howver, captured these splendidly. i love sharing this hobby with like-minded people. we all seem to have a little "click" going on here and everyone is so nice and helpful. keep up the good work and keep us inspired :-)

Hi Erik!!! Another fine presentation! I am convinced that it's winter looking at your album...I am wearing a sweater!! LOL. Thanks for taking a look at 'my little house'. That was actually from a series (not all good) called 'the ball trials'. Several days of experimentation which brought forth this one satisfactory image. I just used my Minolta Dimage S404 (the same one I use for all my images) and it has limitations as far as focusing goes on close shots. I finally settled on using a tripod, setting the timer for 10 seconds, placing a spoon in front of the ornament to draw the focus, set the shot and jumped out of the way with my spoon :o)b to avoid being in the shot myself. I love playing with reflections and light and water and glass. I am always up for a challenge and a couple of examples are 'the way I saw it from the hiway' in my 'buildings' album (where two identical buildings are facing each other across a pond) and 'the door' from the same album, where I am standing directly in front of the door which is reflecting the pool behind me, but I am invisible in the image. I don't think anyone enjoys those little success more than me because only I know what went into them. LOL :o)b

Erik..What a beautiful Christmas and Winter album!! I love the house during the daytime. You can see many things about it and the trees in the yard, the lamp posts and the place where Santa and his sleigh and reindeer is. Then the photos of the water are so wonderful, but the water looks so cold. There is frost on the ground of the scenery, and then the beautiful photos at night. I love the ones of the town/city and all their displays and the ones of the house lit up are spectacular!!! Great photography and thank you for sharing this album with us.
