Album Description:

We made the best of having only a day to see both Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. Someday I hope to return and spend time walking to get a closer view of these marvelous places.

  • i've enjoyed your album very much. i too spent a day in sedona but didn't have a camera on hand at the time. i have video footage of a rattlesnake i almost stepped on though! i used to live in phoenix awhile back and this brought back some great memories of spending the day with one of my brothers. the red rocks are so intense. you've truly captured its beauty well. i'm sure to visit your other albums as well as i've quickly grown fond of your photos. take care. george-

  • Hi Debra I'm waiting a new album from you... However today I see another album from Sedona in new addiction in webshots; so I decided to sent you this message. The new album (user: billshotsbr) is not a beauty (I think that your shots are very more beautiful), but it show Sedona air views. Perhaps you like to see this different view from a place that you love so much... CIAO from Italy Roger PS: in italian confuse mean happy embarass, to much honour... not only not understand. I'm very sorry for my terrible english :-(

  • Dear Debra, I visited this album two times and don't know why I did not sign your book. I love your pictures, despite other comments about the "white skies". If you visit a place and it happens to be a gloomy day even the professional photographer can do nothing to make appear a blue sky with a magic wand. Where I live the sky is almost always blue, but when I went to the Huntington botanical garden with my sister in law, (out of country visitor) it was kind of a gloomy day. So the pictures are not perfect but still we enjoyed the visit and I do not think the pictures are so bad. Thanks for your comment on the additions to my albums. Yes, one of the photo is familiar to you, the other one you mentioned, "the monks" is a bad picture but when I saw those two strange shadows decided to include it , as an unusual one. If you have time visit "capri187&qu ot; she has some very nice shots in an album called "Curiosita&q uot;. Sorry to make it so long, nice to "talk" to you.Congratulations on this album and the skies too!!!!!!!!!!!Kathy

  • Hello, Anna. Thanks so much for you comments once again. Yes, white skies are a problem, but how to avoid them? Be rich and retired so that you can spend as long as you have to in one spot? Maybe in my next life! :-) I'm looking forward to seeing your volcano pictures. I'm sure they will be as impressive as the cactus album. Regards, Debra

  • Hi! Must be an impressive place to roam. Difficult to make photos of. I went to the Teide Vulcano on Tnereife, and still not found the time to make an album out of it.... Places like that are so gigantic, impressive and huge, that it is awfully difficult to get this vastnes on a photo. It is always larger in your head... However, you have been doing OK! Hint: learn to 'hate' white skies... they are ugly... Hint two... find a way of evading them (and tell me too!) Greetings Anna
