Hi Judy Hope you are well and happy.I very rarely come to webshots anymore as I have been having lots of changes and family stuff going on and hope to get settled soon. I have left Sydney by home for over 50 years as I got transferred to Melbourne in Victoria and have been here for a month and haven't picked up my camera yet to busy at work. WE came down in January to look for somewhere to live and went to Bruno's Garden in Marysville , two weeks later the whole town got burnt out with the most horrific bush fires this country has ever seen. All that is left of Bruno's garden is burnt bush and he and his family only escaped with their lifes and have still not been able to return to his place. In all over 210 people have been killed and they expect this number to rise. We acutally moved down on that terrible Saturday and they sky was just covered with smoke. I hope all is well in your life and you and your husband are enjoying your life. I hope to get back on track soon and start posting again....Hugs Sandra

I Love Your Pictures of the Sunrise or Sunset. You are sure a busy Ladybug. I am from Ontario Canada. I love Photograhy too. Please check out my pictures too. I am going down to Texas next spring Hope to capture some nice pictures of birds. Please let me know what kind of Camera do you use when you are taking pictures. I just got my new camera Nikon D80 and the lenses are 70- 400 i will be putting them on my webshots soon and let me know the different from my old camera that i use. I use Cannon Power Shot S2IS. Hello Judy! When there is a large canvas to paint, say, like the whole sky, only Nature can do justice to it. Nature is a great artist, be it glorious sunrises and sunsets as you have shown here, be it exquisite flowers or the myriad other things that share our planet with us. The least we can is to appreciate them. You have paid a wonderful homage to this artistry. The capture of the varied moods of the cloudscapes, the brilliantly colourful sunrises, the specatucular sunsets carve out a special place for you in WS. What a feast to the eyes! What a compendium of brilliant pictures! This is photographic talent at its best. There is no way it could not have been featured. Hearty congratulations for that too. I want to thank you for taking all of these beautiful pictures in and around Brooksville. You see You do not know me, but I live Here. Pine Island is my favorite place in the world. I have so many memories there from when i was a child.I'm 26 years old and I'm starting college, so i don't have alot of time between that and work to visit Pine Island alot. However it is nice to know that if I want a break from all the day to day trials of life that all i have to do now is get on line to visit my special place. I love to go out there and do my thinking, (which I have not been able to do for a long time due to the cost of gas),but maybe now i can look at these pictures and get my life back on track. Hello! Wanted to compliment you on your sunrises/sunsets. What confuses me and I'll admit bothers me, is why some members use frames around their prints but not always. #78 is an example. The black frames are okay because I have black background, but the darker prints with white or lighter frames I don't download...it just looks too strange when my webshots are rotating! Pity, and I'm thankful the majority do not frame! Otherwise, great shots. Will save you to come back and check out your other albums!

Hi Judy, Thank you so much for leaving your kind remarks in my Lake District album. I do have some more to add but it took me all day yesterday to add those 161 photos so I gave it up until today. It truly is a beautiful area and has always been one of my favourites places. I have been many times but this is the first time I have been let loose with a digital camera. I took over 640 photos in total and have had to pick from those and it hasn't been an easy job. As you saw, the weather did go down hill somewhat after a few days and I did take some foggy ones, but there are so many areas I had hoped to get too. I did love the snow in them though. Some of it was quite thick in places. I will be returning there as soon as possible to carry on where I left off. I can quite understand couples honeymooning there as it can be a very romantic place. I had hoped to visit the Church where Wordsworth planted all the daffodils when his daughter died next to St Mary's Church but unfortunately didnt make it. We were slightly early for the daffodils coming out but I will get there one year when they are all in bloom. I can't wait! On a different subject, this album is truly beautiful Judy!! Such deep colours. I love sunsets myself. You have done a wonderful job. Also, thank you for adding me to your friends list. Hi Judy, Thank you for all the wonderful notes today!!! It seems like you have been to many of the places that I have! In answer to some of your questions...yes, we live near Cherry Creek State Park...about 7 or 8 minutes away, as a matter of fact! In Centennial (formerly Aurora). Do your kids still live in the area? Also, I would prefer to use a tripod every time, but many times, especially with wildlife, don't have the time tp get set up. But, as you were writing in my last album, I was uploading new eagle pictures where I was able to use my tripod! I'm thrilled, because he was in perfect light & he's in focus!! Dear Judy, Wow you know I don't think I have looked at this album of yours before now but I really enjoyed it today. It was lovely to see so much colour as its been the most grey cold miserable sleety rain day here. If ever we need some of your warm sunshine its now, January is not my favourite month when its like this. Do you use Photoshop to create the frames for your pictures ? Hi Judy. I can see I have a long way to go to catch up with you on the sunrise and sunset front. This album is growing more and more beautiful. One day last week we had the most fabulous sunset. It began as I was leaving schol and unusual for me, I didn't have my camera with me, tut, tut!! I wouldn't had gotten home in time, plus I had to call in the shopping centre on the way home as well. You really get some gorgeous sunrises and sunsets down there...Two of my most favorite experiences are beautiful sunsets. I'm sure I'd like sunrises as much, if I could haul myself out of bed to see them!

Hi Judy and very many thanks for writing in my GB for Matthew's photos of England. He was pretty chuffed when I told him! But I kid you not, he hasn't touched his camera since he got back! Grrrrrr! Kids! Mind you, he's a top gun at what makes a computer tick and has about 20,000 people playing a game he invented so he don't do too bad for a 16 year old I guess! LOL I see we have a lot of favourites in common and Ken, Al, Jill and I chat quite a lot in MSN - you want to join us sometime - always good for a laugh! Now I can't leave without commenting on this gorgeous album of yours - sunsets have become the vogue thanks to people like Al and these of yours are just super. I echo what you say about how much your father would have loved all this digital stuff - my dad was into photography all his life which I guess is where I got bitten by the bug. Hi Judy. I'm a sunset nut and I love this album. Sunsets and sunrises are just about my favorite things. Sunrises would be better if they'd happen a bit later in the day. lol. Your number 18 shot is unusual and I like it. 19, fire in the sky is a beauty. I think everyone has a fire in the sky shot, I know I do. I've jotted down number 44 so it must have been a goodie too. Thanks for taking a glance at my home. However I must tell you, my home is NOT the standard home in Netherlands. Most nederlanders will tell you, it's more american than nederland. But that could be because I'm from US. I have been here for 9 years. But after looking at your photo's, I see that at one time I lived close to you. I once lived in Spring Hill. My x and I still have a home in Panama City Beach, but this is home now. I hope to show you more Nederlander type homes in the future. You know the ones with thatch roofs, stairways that would kill most american's (SMALL and SPIRRY), you should see them, it's put your history books into photo's. Melody
