Hi Anna, De camera die ik gebruik is een Sony DSC-F828 met een Raynox macro conversie lens voor dichtbij fotografie. Soms vraag ik te veel van mijn camera (pushing it to the limit) en daardoor ontstaat ruis. Ik moet eigenlijk minder eisen stellen aan mijn camera of moet ik overstappen naar een digiflex camera maar helaas is dat momenteel financieel niet haalbaar voor mij. What great albums, I loved this and the other community albums a lot, I have a question, though...were these your choices from their works, or theirs? I too found it funny that the guy who collects fish didn't know that he had a Blue Tang, not a trigger fish, it's also called a blue surgeon. Thank you so much Anna for your concern on my photo used in another album, when I looked the featured album, I could not see a picture from me there (but I guess it was removed maybe at that time thanks to your comments). For now I can't even see any album for this user .. Maybe he didn't know that it should have asked me before ... I will certainly have let him use my picture if he asked since my want is to share my photo and world view with everyone and especially if it can help and inspire some (of course as long as they keep copyright ;-)) and don't remove my signature .. Dear Anna. You were right. One of the members I informed this week-end about the album I made to refer to his/her homepage complained about a copyright violation and my tribute album has been deleted. I can now really measure the difference between the way I made this album and the way you made yours. Oupss..Your message makes me feel a bit ashamed. I didn't know you built these albums that way. I think you're totally right, and I had to thank you for your warnings. I gonna change the way I do. First, I will stop adding new people in this album, I will finish to inform the ones I've already chosen and finally I will suppress the pictures from people who didn't answer. After this, I will feel less ashamed. For my defense, when I said that this idea was useful, yes I meant useful for us (you and me) but I only meant that it's quite more efficient than the textual list of favorites members which is (you must know it) quickly limited. I never meant that it was useful for our own publicity and (even if I didn't choose the right way), I think (I hope) I did everything to make people visiting this album know that the publicity is for the owner of the picture. Hi Anna, your great hospitality shown in this album is very obvious to many viewers. Thank you for great comments about Spring skiing. Every weekend we enjoy skiing in the Rockies, it is just slightly above one hour drive from our home to be on the slopes. Hey Anna, thanks for the visit! I am playing with the new Olympus C750 ultra zoom. I am hooked on Olympus, I guess. It has alot more features than the old one, so it will take a while to learn how to use it. I am going back to NC this week and hope to get some good bird shots, providing they are out and about by now. It's still too cold for the alligators! My old computer should be ready to go with me, virus free. This one has to go to the doctor now to find out why I lost my temp. wbz file folder. What a bummer. Lieve Anna, Wat was het toch een prachtig idee om al deze mensen en hun mooiste foto tesamen te brengen. Proficiat voor het initiatief. Ik weet, en bedank er jou dan ook voor, dat je ook mij uitnodigde om mee te doen. Spijtig genoeg heb ik te laat kunnen reageren. Wij zitten de laatste maanden volop in bouwperikelen. We bouwen een nieuw huis hier in de naburige gemeente en dit werk levert ons niet alleen zware arbeid maar ook de nodige kopzorgen op. Daarom was de computer de laatste tijd het lot van een stiefmoederlijke behandeling ondergaan. Hetzelfde lot was ook mijn fotografie beschoren. Maar ik blijf je graag volgen en blijf een grote fan van je werk en je idee's. Hopelijk kunnen we, jij en Marjon, mekaar toch nog eens ontmoeten. I know I shall never have enough days to see the albums of most of the fine photographers in webshots, let alone all of them, but it is nice to get referrals, so to speak, from an album like this and from the photographers themselves through their favorites. I shall keep looking and enjoying as I am able. Please do not think from the last statements that my days on Earth are numbered and closing fast(they could be, but I hope not and I do not think they are), it is just that I have so many different interests and other things going on that I am limited for time in each activity. I am also very slow on a keyboard which does not help my communications. But then, I am sure everyone can say the same, or similar, for themselves. Thanks again for a great album. Hi Anna, I am overwhelmed by this album. You did a wonderful job. I already know and admire many of the Webshots members you picked, but then again I have discovered many new wonderful ones thanks to your dedication. Hi Anna, thanks for the invitation. When I opened the invitation, there was only 1 message in the guest book. Disappointed for having missed to be the first I began to look at the gallery. When taking a break I saw, that a lot of time went by and that the guest book is filling up quickly. It must be fun sitting at the computer and getting every few minutes such nice messages, but you deserve it all and I wish you thousands of messages, and for the Webshot Community I hope there will be a second edition of such a fine gallery!
