Hello Jo! Your photographs are so beautiful. I grew up in the Traverse City area and went to NMU. When I saw the photos of Presque Isle and the snow it brought tears to my eyes. I had forgotten how beautiful winters are there.

I was drawn to your Presque Isle album because, coming from Maine, I think of an entirely different Presque Isle than you do. They don't have a light house that I know of in Presque Isle, Maine, LOL! Hi JoJo - Enjoyed your album. Cardinals are one of my favorite birds. Some have said they saw cardinals in the UP, but in fourteen years I never have. Good shots of both lighthouses. My favorite shot is of Chaser-awww! Thanks for visiting my Spring Scenes album. Shirley :)

Hello-Michigan seems to have more barns, more covered bridges, ships and lighthouses than any other State-why is that? Not that you're boundaries are covered by water or anything. You even have more snow than most. I wish I could say that for myself. We've a little of each, but not on your scale. Michigan is a beautiful State and you've captured much of it. I wanted to thank you for commenting on my featured "Mountains&q uot; album back on the 15th Nov. Just about to catch up on my 'thank you' notes, a must here.
