Here's some more info on the Owl shown in "RHS Exteriors". After the buildings were torn down, the owls disappeared. Later I found that one of them was in the backyard of a house in the 900's of Paris Ave in a house occupied by Rev Gilbert Swenson of First Covenant Church. When I started making inquiries into taking possession of the owl, some of the guys from 1st Cov rescued it, and the last I have heard, it is in the Rockford Museum. It should be in the Rockford Natural History Museum - what better place for an owl?
