Album Description:
Brilliant blue sky and extremely cold temperatures however, we enjoyed photographing the bridge despite the bare trees. It is located in Alleghany County, west of Covington, VA, built in 1835. Hope you enjoy! Bill & Kay

Dear Bill and Kay: we realize that we had never before written in this remarkable album - and this though as (in origin) Swiss we can't but love these old bridges - and there are a lot to be found in Switzerland. As always really professional pictures - a w a r m professionalism, not a money calculating! - Thank you finally for your kind comments, three weeks ago, in my B/W album. It's a pleasure to see how many people begin to love old views! Cordially: Käthi and Henri

Hi Bill and Kay, A honourable portrait of this historical bridge. So thanks to the "professional women's club" among others. The bridge is situated in a very atmospherical area and your way of capturing it under the blue sky was the finishing touch of this beautiful album. Greetings, Tjebbe

Bill & Kay, Another spectacular album of the beautiful area around you. That about the prettiest blue sky I've ever seen. You sure picked a good day for these shots. Of course I love the bridge as well, your photos are like getting to take a visit to your state. Gloria

Bill and Kay..these are marvellous photos of the old bridge. It must be very pretty in the Fall there, but no matter, I think your photos highlight the bridge itself and they are good. I enjoyed this album very much. If you have a moment I have a new Valentine and Romance album if you would like to see it. Have a good weekend, Barbara

Hi Bill and Kay! I was in the middle of uploading my Lake Tahoe photos when you stopped by for a visit. The server wasn't cooperating that well yesterday and it was taking me longer than usual to upload images. Anyway thanks for the visit. This Humpback Bridge is beautiful. In fact I sort of like it when the trees are bare as I get to see the structure of the bridge better. The weather looked great...blue skies and all that! Good job for another wonderful album!!!

Hi Bill and Kay! What a beautiful album you created, the photos really reminded us of some of the covered bridges we have seen in the past. The water in the river really looks cold and I bet you were cold also. Thanks for bringing these photos to us. hamil-calif

Hello Bill and Kay this album is such a treat!Covered bridges are new to me we don't have them in New Zealand. Is it to protect them from the snow?I think your study at this time of year with the trees dormant emphasises the structure of the bridge -which is amazing !I love the perspective you always capture in your shots ,you albums are always such a joy to view!Warm wishes from New Zealand-Lynne

It truly is a pleasure viewing another beautiful album from you, Bill and Kay. This bridge is just so lovely and I too enjoyed every view you captured for us. Loved the perspective of looking underneath it and through it. You truly have the most beautiful blue skies out in Virginia and West Virginia. I don't think Mi. skies ever get such an intense blue. So, who cares that the trees are bare, they still add beauty to your shots. Thanks for getting us a new album to enjoy. Have a great day. Dynna
