  • Hello Lynn, this is a lovely album! Congratulations for the photos and for the wonderful work you are doing with these lovely animals. By this time, I hope some of them are already living free in their habitat and that nothing bad will happen to them. Thank you so much for sharing these touching images with us, God bless you, Rosa, in Portugal

  • Lynn, is the monkey found at http://community.webshots.com/photo/34585256/34585256vQQMfq under the user codomo a vervet? I hope you enjoyed the albums, as I said in one of my comments most came from primates.com, but they were still nice. I hope things are okay in So. Africa, I think of you and your "children&qu ot; every time I hear something on the news about what's going on there (I know So. Africa is a long ways away, but can you ever be too far away from that type of thing...) Sicnerely, Jeanie from the US

  • Lynn, I found an artist who does such nice things with every animal (she has primates, also) that I knew you'd love them. Look for "brandychloe& quot;, there's a few that are fantastic. By the way, I collect photos, mostly of animals, I send out a new photo every weekday morning to a group of friends, if you are interested email me at poohbr10@comcast.net ; also, I have lots of primate photos, so even if you didn't want to receive the daily, I'd be willing to send you a few new monkey pics every so often. Just let me know. I so appreciate what you are doing there. Thank you Jeanie from Tacoma WA USA

  • lynn, I have a question, I saw you make a guestbook entry in roede_lyn's album called Gibbons, isn't the first two pics of vervets? By the way, I made a comment about a monkey situation I ran into involving a library where a monkey was throwing feces, and you questioned it, stating they hate to get it on their hands...I can't be sure it was a spider or squirrel monkey, that was back in 1974, and I didn't know what I know now about primates, and I know very little now...more thanx to you. I am sure about the feces, though. I also ran into a situation in Moline IL zoo in 74', where a chimp who had been caged in a way that people could throw him food had gotten in the habit of begging for everyone's pop, I knew better, so I wouldn't give it mine, it threw feces also. That was ages ago, though when zoos would let guests feed the animals (probably to cut down on costs, and to bring more people in, also because we didn't know then what we do now, I can only hope). They had a camel there that was in love with my cologne, it litterally knew when I entered the zoo (and no, it wasn't that strong of a fragrance), just musk oil...Let me know the answer about the vervet on my animal albums with numbers...I don't get to view the other answers.

  • Dear Lynn, I have been looking at your photos of your little Monkeys, it is so cruel to see people leave them and abuse them the way they have, You are doing a wonderful job, to get these babies back into their own enviroment. Our friend Doug will be getting in touch with you when he gets back to Scotland. Lot's of Love Ray (UK)

  • Hi,Lynn, It's hard to believe that people still have such disreagard for animals, some things just don't change. The monkeys must be a handful and you should be commended for your involvement with their survival. One question, however, don't they get use to human contact and isn't that detrimental to their release into the wild? How do you compenstate? Keep up the good work and know that your efforts are appreciated by animal lovers like me and my wife. Take care! Sincerely, Dennis

  • Thanks for your kind words on my featured album 'Medley of Colour' it was a great honour to be chosen and so many nice people like yourself took the trouble to write...I appreciate it. It is so nice to see animals being cared for like this. I know how time consuming it can be, we have got a four month old rescue kitten this week.....I'm worn out!!! Blessings...Meg.

  • Hi Lynn, I am proud to be the first one to tell you what a great album this is. Is that the same Thandi as in the other album? She has grown! The pictures are wonderful, it's a joy to look at them. On January 21, our Skylar has become the mother of 10 rittens. I started an album on her and her babies, but each time we make so many pictures, that I can't catch up with the album. They are 3 weeks old now, and they are a handful. Skylar is a lovely caring mother. It's so nice to watch. You can find the album "Skylar and her babies" at wely246. Kind regards, Els
