Hi Bill & Kay...What an awesome collection of winter shots you captured in this album..We were there in Oct this year & truly enjoyed our tour..I took over 40 images of this fantastic old grist mill & the waters on the other side of the bridge..It's truly a "Work of Art" how they have "constructed" this old mill with wood from other grist mills in W.V. to preserve this State Park into such a fantastic showcase of beauty. Thanks for sharing & Congratulations on your selection with this Winter Collection as it's truly a well deserved Honor & Tribute for your Photography Skills with the camera ...God's Blessings from Celina Texas...Ken <>< <>< <><

This gristmill in West Virginia has been photographed many times. I hope to visit it and get some myself. These are the first I've seen with the snow. West Virginia has many beautiful sites to photograph, and you have captured many of those beautiful landscapes.

Kay and Bill, congratulations for being featured in Webshots! Your winter scenes are fantastic. I was sorry they were not large enough to be used as wallpaper. I use 1600x1200 resolution, and I don't like stretching photos. Couldn't you upload just the image "Closeup mill downstream" a little larger? I would appreciate very much. JJDiniz, from Brazil.

Hi Kay and Bill! I had to come back and enjoy this beautiful Winter album from the Mill! Did you guys get any of that snow that has our children snowed in for Christmas in Louisville? They will come home next weekend, weather permitting! Thanks for the sweet comments in my Holiday album the other day and then to my surprise this morning, I found it was featured on Christmas Eve. That was a special treat! Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Love, Sharon and Bob

Hi, again, Bill and Kay. A while back you gave me permission to make watercolor paintings from photos in your albums. I have finished a painting of one of your photos of an historic house. Also, one of my classmates has finished a painting of the red mill in winter. I am going to post copies of the paintings on my WebShots site for you to see. I have lost your email address and the email message you sent giving permission for us to paint from your photos. We would feel better if you would resend permission to paint from your wonderful photos. Thanks, Joy Anderson, El Cajon, CA mountaintopjoy@yahoo.com http://community.webshots.com/user/mountaintopjoy

Hi again Bill and Kay, You guys have some outstanding shots from Babcock SP, and Glade Mill. I'm planning to head that way in early October. I see you guys have great shots from several seasons, so I'm guessing your the experts.I was wondering what you might could share with me about the park specifics? When do they operate the mill, when do you expect the best Fall color, Operating hrs, other stuff to photograph close by ect,? Any help would be much appreciated. DWVan10@aol.com Dave from SC

Wow, another fantastic album! Truly enjoyable! You guys always come up with great pictures. Loved the grist mill and its frozen surroundings--waterfall and river.

Greetings from Ohio. I especially like Icicles along Glade Creek. Thanks!

Bill & Kay, I really do appreciate your efforts to get these beautiful images, and put them up for view, it must be breath taking to see in person. The ice and snow is so pretty, but makes you shiver just to look at it. I like the icicles, and the waterfall. Glo

Hello Kay and Bill and thanks for your nice visit. Always a pleasure when friends "meet". Can well imagine you are waiting the heavy snow to cover your just beautiful scenery there. It's just the one to add something extra to everything. This must be a heaven for photographers like you two. The Spring is here - just wait and see - me too for your shots to come. Very warm greetings from a friend in Portugal now, Antti

Kay & Bill, I'm way jealous. Not only do you have such a great place to go for a photo op but you got such awesome photos. Can't decide on a favorite because they are all so good. Thanks for your kind words when visiting my albums and thanks for sharing your work with us all. Garry

Hi Kay & Bill! Wow! I can't believe you went out in all that ice and snow and got these wonderful shots! I started keeping a list of favorites but it got too long. I love so many of them I can't list them all! I'm so glad you didn't slip and fall and hurt yourselves!!! Thanks for getting out there and sharing these beautiful photos with us!!!! Hugs & Love!!! Hi Kay and Bill! I am sure glad you went ahead and visited the mill because this album is just gorgeous. My favorites are #21 and #22 and just about all the downstream from the mill scenes, but it was really difficult for me to pick just a couple of favorites. They are all so beautiful. This album would make an awesome feature!! I hope everything is back to normal and everyone has their electricity back from that ice storm. Thanks for the sweet comments in my spring albums; we're ready for spring also. We still have ice that has been hanging around for a couple of weeks, but really can't complain. It didn't cause any major problems for us. Lots of hugs! Sharon

I went to visit the Glade Creek Grist Mill, in the winter this time. It's beautiful there in the winter. I viewed it from the bank, then went down to the boulder in the river. After I dried off from the fall into the icy river, and with some of the icicles hanging from my nose, I went up to the bridge. Fantastic view, upstream and downstream. You really have a fantastic album here. I love the photos from a distance. Wonderful shots from long range, seeing a lot of the frozen river, with falls still running yet icicles, snow , just great. You can be proud of this one, as of all of your albums!!!!!!!!! Glad you're out taking photos again. Love and hugs to you both. God BLess Sharon
