Steen, Congratulations for your enormous talent and for your enormous amouny of photos, all of high quality. Many are just fantastic, award winning. Out of the ordinary sample of excellent photography. You are a true artist. I just discovered your albums more or less by accident, while looking around for photos of sunsets. I have been rapidly, at random, through a few of your albums and I’ve been very very impressed by you way of looking at things. You have a great talent and thank you for making us share your view of the world. There are so many gorgeous photos, it is extremely difficult to pin point a favorite. No doubt in my mind, in this album, I select ‘’DENMARK 2001-03-25 139-4000z img’’, with the wonderful pink sky sunset and the swans on the water. Spectacular! In another album whose name I’ve forgotten, I was really impressed by ‘’DENMARK 2001-01-27 129-2989_IMG’’, the photo taken in the forest of coniferous trees. Very mystical. Reminds me a lot of the forest around where I was born, here in Québec. I used to be fascinated by the majesty of the trees above me. They were protecting me and yet, I was full of respect and awe amongst them. You took a photo of a wild chickory plant along a road. I love this one, the composition and the pure colour of those transparent petals. I love this plant; I transplanted some in my garden and I did some acrylic paintings of them in the past. This photo ‘’denmark 20020810img_4395 is truly a great one. There are so many others that deserve to be looked at with the required time to savour every detail and appreciate the work and the talent behind it. It would not be fair if I were only to take a quick look at your work; it deserves more time, which I will devote at a later time. I will end with this one that reminds me so much of the French impressionist painters of the last century (I think of this dear Monet), your photo called ‘’DENMARK 20010520 Img_8080’’ taken at Gavnoe Pond. Steen! Spring Sunset/Swan Sunset 01 is a lovely photo! I like to take many photos much like yours. I hope to get out to our ocean and into the Cascade Mountains again==maybe next year==and do more scenics. I should also go when the pears, apples, etc. are flowering and then when ready to harvest up there too! I love the apple in the other album. These swans are gorgeous as is the background for them! I just feel a kindred soul in the types of photos you take. You are much better, but I want these kinds of photos. Need better equipment. I mainly have to do close-ups, but some of my old scenics were scanned using very high resolution, and you have seen them I'm sure. They were taken in the 80s before I fell and got busted using a small Olympus (one is a pocket camera and the other is a small telephoto). I want a big telephoto. ;) Send me your e-mail address. Hi, I was suprised that my album was once featured in the community (didn't even know these things happened). As I saw your album featured right next to it, I lost all understanding of why my album was featured. Yours are much more beautiful. I took a short look and I like this one and 2=2. BTW.
