Brecon Beacons

Hi Lance. It certainly looks very bleak up there on Brecon Beacons and you have captured the atmosphere very well indeed. This is a place we must have visited when we were living in South Wales during the war but, apart from the name, I don't remember anything about it. Glad you liked my Cornwall album - those pics were all originally slides taken during our only trip back home in 1997. Like you, I have long held Kynance Cove in very high regard and couldn't wait to get back there. Unfortunately the tide was in as my memory was of a place with a great sandy beach winding around the rocks. Thanks for your comments in the guest book. Best wishes, Peter in Western Australia

Hi Lance Saw it, my wife recorded the weather for me, lovely photo I will look out for it this evening well done strange me the other night now your turn been to the Storey Arms this morning took Robbie and my grandson was good but freezing will add some new pics tomorrow soo keep an eye open all in the Beacons Regards Mike

Hi Lance Took that Sunday PM was freezing there I had a shock to see it he never mailed me to say he was putting it on I sent a few in I think it's pot luck. good luck next time. perhaps we may bump into one another up there one day with the dogs.

Hello Lance, Now your bringing back memories, it was a while ago, but you have scenes here that I remember, I love Wales, in fact we're not too far apart. I'm in the West of Cornwall, & on a clear day can see the Welsh coast in the far distance.
