Album Description:
Probably this is a booring album, but I love it... Every working day I spent my lunch time near Dome walls; sometimes, on wind days, I LOVE to go on the roof to read a book or simply to look at my city and at my loved Alps. My shots are a little homage ..

Hi Ruggero! I thought I'd come back and take a look at some of your earlier work, and I am certainly glad that I did! You had me totally mesmerized by the beautiful, intricate architecture of this glorious cathedral, and then you took me inside! Breathtaking!!! The reflections on the pillars and the beautiful windows are just amazing! I am in total awe of this album! You must feel very blessed every day to be able to view this amazing building! Boring??? I think not!!! Thanks for sharing with us all....take care...Darlene

Caro Amico, you surpass yourself with this album which is not only a photographic delight, but also interesting through the information you are offering us.I enjoyed it tremendously and so seemed to have felt some of my friends below, Lynne and Jacques and Luc. We are people from various corners of the world and yet...you gathered us all here to admire your exquisite work! Isn't it amazing???? My favorites are 121/127/200/204/all shots of the stained-glass windows, and MOST OF ALL No.101 - I would have called it "The Delirium of Architecture"! Friendly regards from Japan, Gabriela

Hello Ruggero, and thanks to André who invited me to visit your album : he is wright, your album is wonderful ! I saw it in a dream : beautiful shots of your Milano cathedral in front of the Alps background. I enjoyed all the shots, but my favorites are from the stained-glass windows and those of the stained-glass windows colored light against the pillar of the cathedral. Congratulations for this awsome album ! Friendly, Chantal from France

Hi Roger!!! AGAIN! Thanks for your great comments in my albums last night!!! I am honoured and pleased. I enjoyed them very much! I am so glad we have found each other! I went and looked at #37 which you referred to and you are right!!! But YOURS is frozen and MINE is boiling!!! CRAZY, huh??? It's funny that you should point out that image, cause no one has seen what you have seen before. When I snapped that I was looking for a new round, but I was surprised to see the magic in the pot! Thanks for noticing!!! :o)b Most 'standard issue' people wouldn't notice that. You must be 'special' :o)b Don't you just love CLARA'S photos??? She is the BEST. Her mind always working. She will be famous. :o)b Your newest photo friend...Barbara :o)b

Ciao, Ruggiero :) Your album is not boring at all! I find it very interesting, instead. It's very rare to find so many details of the Duomo, especially when the photos are so beautiful. It's fun to see it with the eyes of an insider such as you are. Complimenti!

Hi Ruggero!! This album is certainly not boaring - I love it too! It must be wonderful to have lunch by such an amazing cathedral. I like your points of view, they give (some) idea of its enormous size. I love the statues of the people looking at Milano, they're very special. The shots inside the cathedral are also very good, and I can imagine they were not easy to take. The stained glass pictures are especially beautiful. Of course, your titles and remarks are excellent as always. I love the irony in your remarks - esp the mecabric ones ;-) Your last remark wonderfully closes the album with both irony and empathy - just the way I like it. I hope to see more such "boaring&quo t; albums! Orly

Ciao Roger, I knew you'd have some pics from that new camera!!! Seems you've already mastered it, good job. Were you amazed when you first brought them up on your computer screen as I once was. Nothing like a high resolution digital SLR is there? I loved your new album the title is wonderful and very appropriate for the subject, which is amazingly beautiful. I especially loved 118, 125, 140, 215, 223 and 303. You have the artist's eye. Wonderous those stained glass reflections on the columns in the church. I loved your gargoyles too!!

Nice to be back Ruggero! This is really The Place. I feel great love and affection in your photography here. This is a work of art my friend. I think we'll meet some day and why not have a chat with some nice fish and chilled very dry white wine. Looking forward this to be true someday - hopefully even when driving home to Finland in June. Have a great day - by the way have you already had your coffee under the dome or somewhere around? I'm late today, made just another Óbidos album and now for that cafébreak of mine! Regards Antti

Ruggero! Hai fatto bingo. Riprodurre poi i rosoni in modo così singolare lascia stupefatti. Claudio.
