You truely are a fantastic photographer. You turn to magic what is &quot;just&quot; sand. Nature is magnificent, but you have to see it. The colours again are unbelievable. So diverse, the countryside amazing. I think the lack of water keeps people from not living there. I see not a living soul in your picture, not an animal surviving these arid conditions. How did you stay alive in 54C??? The sun is merciless, but just gives you the light to take these pictures at different times. So beautiful, I cannot believe what I am seeing. Have you ever been to the Teide Vulcano on Tenerife? 4000 m high: majestically, completely dry; as if nothing happened after the last eruption... It has the same powerful charisma as these landscapes. It takes a photographer like you to make these landscapes revive in a photo. Thank you Ning. I have to be careful for the sand that's right but there is no real trick except avoid changing a lenses or film in the middle of a sand storm ;-) It's worth the risk however. I usually change the film in my car. Marc

Hello Marc! I am so pleased that you found time to look at my Namibia album. I never expected your visit. I loved Namibia; there is something so primordial and earthy about it. As my spirits stirred, I felt one with it. My vist to the Himba village was an unforgettable experience. I am sure they face many problems in their life, but there is something positive in them that we have lost. While I literally ran amok among the dunes in Sossusvlei, none of the pictures come anywhere near the crispness, clarity and compositions of yours.
