Album Description:

This is a continuation of my black and white album. I'm still fascinated with the absence of color and its strange beauty.

  • I'm honored to be the first. I enjoy your beautiful interpretations of the world you see. The black and white is so dramatic. Up the Twisted Path is my favorite. Joline/Maine

  • i love your black and white, especially the nature stuff. thank you for commenting on my photos, its nice to know someone likes them. just fyi (to answer your question) "the run" was actually taken of a watercolor paint set that melted and dripped. by putting it on the floor i was able to take a picture of it (at the angle i wanted) and then went and screwed with it on my computer...yea...thats the basis on it. Great photos! Thanks again.

  • A wonderful album of black and white photos. This medium really helps to highlight the subject, and brings out the mood as well. I enjoy your work very much. Greetings from Keith in Sydney.

  • Taking the colour out leads the mind and eyes to concentrate on patterns, lines, texture and forms! I love these albums and how much more is noticed when you don't have the distracting dazzle of rainbows. Mind you I love colour but there are moments where stillness is required, reflection and study of the simple form that can stretch the soul to new levels! Thanks for sharing such a brilliant album that invokes a silent passion and detail! May your mind always be free to wander, smiles and grins-----amy :)

  • Hi George, thank you so much for your wonderful and generous comments under my Puerto Vallarta photo albums. It is my pleasure to view your photography and enjoy seeing your world captured through your camera lenses. It is awesome that we can see each other's worlds just after one simple click! You have wonderful talent to see and share with us!!! Impressive work! This morning I learned (after opening my e-mail because my server provider experienced some difficulty) that my two albums were featured yesterday…and then only one album was presented on the front page. Lots of confusion… Again, thank you for your generosity and your friendship. Friendly greetings, Rafal from Calgary, Canada

  • Hi George, These are beautiful! I particularly like the one of the Tubas / Sousaphones (Sounds of Silence). I noticed that some appear to be de-saturated, but are some originally in black and white? Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your kind words on my "Black, White and Grays" album. I too have always been a huge fan of black and white photography, but it has only been recently, with the advent of the electronic darkroom, that I've been able to produce acceptable results.

  • Hey, I was browsing through various photos and yours particularly caught my eye. I haven't actually been a very big fan of photography until very recently, so I'm new at it, but I can't help but truly admire your work.
