Hello Bob And Sharon, I've been thoroughly enjoying your shots of the Missouri Botanical Garden... literally breathtaking. I go to the garden sometimes 40-50 times a year in all seasons. And I have been browsing in your other user names thinking for a long time that they were different people... but I did start noticing the similar style and skills. I only decided to sign up to specifically say thanks to you, and that's when I read your message that you had different user names. Your photos are fantastic, wow... and especially have brought me so many hours of gratitude, smiles and soothing remembrances of my garden trips, and I just had to let you know how much I appreciate them. I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. It's so nice to use your albums as a way to revisit the garden when I can't physically get there. Hi again Sharon & Bob !! I finished downloading the remainder of this beautiful, wonderful album and am amazed at the sharpnest and color you have captured in these beautiful scenes. Also thank you for your kind comments on the orchid show albums and I have loved going to them for the last 52 years! I have admired the orchid since giving them to my dates to the high school dances from'38 to '43. When finally released from active service with the Navy, came to Santa Barbara and have been here since.I've kept Epidendrums , Cymbidiums Bromilaids and a few Cattlyas, but also a lot of azelias, violets and impatients. With an assortment ot others from time to time; Tuberous Begonias, Fuschias, Camelias and a lot of miscellaneous. Unfortunately I have given all of the photos of these things away long before finding webshots. We had a 2 acre lot that had been owned by a botnist who had planted 3 Plums, an apple, huge Hass Avacato, Naval and Valencia oranges, 5 kinds of Guavas, an Apricot , Pear, Loquat, Tangelo, Lemom and a huge Mandarin Tangerine that 6 0r 7 children often climbed up into it to mmunch on fruit insstead of junk food.
