• Loved your Hummingbird album, so many amzing captures and great videos as a bonus! I rarely have the good fortune to come across these, and when I have, my camera wasn't handy! Tried feeders in the past, but only seemed to attract wasps...which I don't mind snapping pics of, but would love to get shots like yours! Thanks for sharing these and inspiring wanna-be's like myself! ;)

Yes, I am enjoying these wonderful Florida breezes. This is my favorite time of year and we don't have to have the air conditioner on or the heater. I have all my windows open right now and it is night time!

Frankly, I would gladly trade some of these wading birds and maybe a hawk or two for a few hummingbirds. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your visit and your kind message on my birds album.

I took my first hummingbird picture just yesterday in fact, so I know what it takes to get good ones. I have not uploaded it yet. • WOW! Your hummingbird photos are incredible! Most photographers would be delighted to have just one such shot like yours. But you have one after another after another. I don't often have the time to comment, but I want you to know I enjoy and admire your photos in this and others of your volumes. I'm also flattered that a phototragher with your skills would make some of the very nice comments you've made about my some of photos. It's especially meaningful coming from someone like you. Thank you.

I tried so hard once to catch a picture of one, with that nice shiny red throat, but he would always go to the shady side of the feeder. :c( I finally had to give up. Very nice photo set!! --Mary

I don't see very many hummingbirds, I suppose it is because, I haven't taken an interest enough to attract them with water that has been sweetened. They are very cute tiny birds. So it looks like you reap what you sow. You have a superb collection of photos. All of the ones I have seen, they seem to be on the move. Thanks for sharing... Darrell

 • WOW, spectacular shots of these wonderful amazing creatures! I love Hummingbirds and they keep me fascinated for hours watching them buzz around. We have a resident male in my mom's garden and he is lots of fun to watch and gets quite territorial with other birds encroaching on his tree! They have a interesting noise not necessarily a pretty sound but again fascinating nonetheless, what I do love is to hear their buzzing of their wings! ANyway, many thanks for sharing and wonderful close shots of these wonderful little birds! Great job and sending smiles, amy

 • Good Morning Miss Dee. You certainly have captured these flying jewels very well. I loved them all and especially the first photo. Just an excellent composition there. Thank you for visiting my enhanced photos album and your kind comments. I'm off to enjoy your flowers too. Dynna in MI.

 • You take some excellent photos of our little winged jewels - I could take a couple of lessons from you! ~ Note to last guestbook entry ~ In Michigan, it is VERY unlikely (so far) that they would have Allen's (MOST common to So California coastline) or Rufous visiting. I would want to double-check, but I believe you'd find that the Ruby's also have a small amount of "rufous&quot ; coloring. I think our photographer is right on the money.

 • Sweetheart somehow you have got the names of the hummers all mixed up. Your Ruby-throated is an allen or anna, but looks more like allen. what happened?

 • Hi, and congratulations on such a great album of Hummingbirds. I don't imagine they sit still while you take their photo, which makes these photos all that much more of an achievement. Thank you for sharing your photos and obvious talent. I invite you to view my photos some time. Best wishes from Keith in Sydney.

 • Great photos of the hummingbirds. When I saw hummingbird photos from a Canadian internet friend for the first time, I really couldn't believe my eyes. You 'never see them in Europe, only in a Zoo. Terrific shots, Compliments and thank you for the nice words about my photos! Bye, Annet.
