Looking again at the present astonishing collection, we are, besides the scenery, particularly impressed by the (pre?)historic paintings. Many of them remind me similar rock art I had seen some 50 years ago in eastern Spain (Valltorta etc.), which is estimated 10 000 years BC. - Hope all the best for you and Cindy - and some day you may have a look at our vacations output... - Cordially: Ka

Norm, do appreciate your comments in my Charleston album. Years ago, an old friend mine, then living in Moab drove me out to what he called Wild Horse Canyon on one side and the LaSalle Mtns on the other, nice area of red rock and very deep canyonlands. The Colorado, which seemed like miles below me, was just a sliver of water making its way out of the canyonlands. I couldn't believe how much area it covered. Balancing rock was another. Thanks for the vacation in pictures from the past. I had the same thought as you, never thought Webshots would feature mine either. You'd better keep taking pictures, you're other albums are liable to wind up as another feature, you're quite good at capturing all this beauty. I took a liking to your first pix in this album and downloaded same. Appreciate your time and your albums. Ron/Oregon Coast

Hey Norm. It is a slightly different angle, especially where the waters view is concerned, but it has to be picture 855. I think that picture 1344 is my favorite.
