...I meant to say that, in the UK, Grey Squirrels are treated as vermin! There are ecological reasons - they take over the habitat of the much more rarer Red Squirrel - for this but it is a shame

Excellent photos. And the title is very apt (my nickname - Herriot- is in recognition of james herriot author of the books entitled "All Creatures Great and Small" which was about his life as a Vet in Yorkshire in England, UK. They are extremely funny books. Keep up the good work.

These little squirrels are really fun to watch but they sure like to get into trouble. We used to feed them but we created monsters of destruction and lots of baby monsters too. Now they are getting into the bird feeders and really making a mess. Your photos show that they can be pretty cute too. Thanks for your comments in my guestbook. Craig
