  • I'M back with high praises - again. Short & sweet: I still love your ART, subjects and Treatment. So does my monitor (aka screen). My first visit and praises date back to July 2004, so I doubt that briasnbabe could be the 1st to sign in... Anyway, your material suggests that you're a professional photographer. More reason to thank you for sharing!

  • hi, peter may again...i find pics of covered bridges beautiful, yours are the best. im intrigued, not having these structures in australia..what are they actually covering you from, the weather?, stopping distraction? it just seems strange to be protected from the weather for the length of the bridge, to come back into the elements! or am i missing something? im not having a go here, i have always wondered about the covered bridge, since i saw my first pic.

  • This is a great collection of Covered Bridges and a lovely tribute to an American Icon. You have photographed them beautifully and captured their rustic charm. Well done and thanks for sharing.. Gladys, Western Australia.

  • When I think about it I don't know how old bridges could be so beautiful- but they always have been to me- and those are some of the best shots.

  • When growing up we would visit our grandparents in PA and they had a covered bridge that crossed the river. We used to play on it and climb to the top center and look out over the river rushing under the bridge. I can still hear the sound that a car would make driving over the covered bridge. So sad though,it was torn down to build a highway. My grand parents had an artists paint a picture of it and now that they are gone my brother has it. Such memories!! You have a great gift, your pictures are priceless!!
