Truly beautiful photography of a marvelous landscape. Exquistitely clear colors do justice to the beauty of it all. Are you shooting film or digital, and if digital, what type of camera and filters are you using? Thanks for sharing so many stunning photographs.

Hi Roger, First of all thank you so much for your really kind guestbook entry in my Monkton Nature reserve album. Compliments like that from someone who takes such stunning shots means an awful lot. If you look at some of my other albums you can see we like to walk the hills too. There is nothing like making the effort to reach a peak and getting stunning views, especially if they are like the ones in this album. You suddenly forget all those times it might have hurt on the way up. Not many people understand why you would want to climb a mountain but I know there is noting quite like it. Back to this album now I can't get over the intense blue of the sky and it adds to all of your shots. Its impossible to choose a favourite because they are all just perfect :o) We had a holiday in out lovely Lake District recently and I think you have seen one of the albums for that but if you get chance to look at my Crinkle Crags and Bowfell album sometime you would probably see those hills at their best You take care now Jill

Hi There: May I please have permission to paint your lovely photograph of 012-watchi My Alps. I am an 80 year old grandmother with oil painting as a hobby. There is no chance I would be selling my paintings commercially, but I do like to ask permission before I paint anything on Webshots. Thank you for your consideration. eileen_walt@telus.net

Ciao Ruggero, I have returned here for another hike with my friend from Milano. I can never get enough of your beautiful mountains, and as I hike this mountain with you I can vividly recall our day on Mottarone - nearly a year ago! Thanks for your nice comments in my Sonoma Countryside album. I hope some day to be able to return the favor you gave us last year, and take you and your family to some of my favorite places here in northern California, like those shown in the album. Have a wonderful rest of the week, my friend.

Ringraziarla Ruggero! From D in Washington State, USA. P.S. Hope you can read my Italian :-)

Ciao Ruggero! I don't know how I missed this album before - it is gorgeous! I think it's your best yet - every picture is crisp and clear and perfectly composed. And of course you had perfect weather yet again! Thanks for your note in my new album - you beat Kathy by 2 seconds. I'm adding more to my new album as I try different things with the camera - it really is a joy to use. Ciao and a big hug, Beth

Hi Ruggero. Here again with your always sooo gorgeous alps of yours. I just have to drive next time through those places when going back to Finland. There seems to be so much to been seen - even in that northern part of Italy. Greetings, Antti; that flower was ment to just everybody, but changed the name of the album a bit. Usually I send flowers only for nice girls - in all ages

A very nice album Ruggero! lillac and blue, looking behind, three colors and all those fabulous sceneries. Great to travel with you - this is like a dream. Hope to see those places next spring when driving home through those districts. All the very best to you and your family, Antti; I´ll accept all your thoughts about my Artesanato album - thanks anyway - and have a nice coffee you too - the great Italian Expresso, and or a clas of some nice wine maybe

Chapeau. Lo dico nel mio cattivo inglese così capiscono tutti i tuoi innumerevoli e meritati estimatori: YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE MASTER IN CHROMATICAL PHOTOGRAPHY.

Grazie Elio

Hi Ruggero! I really appreciate your comments and advise. I'm feeling quite embarrassed about making my silly thoughts public and causing such pain to all my friends. Instead of standing along with everybody, I found the easy way to end the pain by quitting. Ah! What a shame! I really acted like a coward I guess. However I’m happy that my friends opened my eyes and made me look around and realize how wrong I was and I'm glad that I agreed. Here I'm again, starting to rebuild life from the scratch. I know it'll take me a while to come back in force, but I promise that I will. And I mean it. Thank you, my friend. Cheers! Sanjay

Ruggero...I know you have gone on holiday but I am hoping on your laptop you will check in to see that it is your pleas for the sake of us all, that I stay that have touched me most. To leave was breaking my heart. In that regard I have posted a second announcement with my decision to STAY and fight the good fight. Here is a bit of a message I posted to CS Leung on the matter of staying..... =================> You speak the truth....with us gone... they can return to their happy lives...i know when we are gone the spring breakers, girls with half exposed body parts and drunken boys will not write ugly letters to them complaining about their art being compromised!!!!!! LOL...that whole idea cracks me up! Thank you for your messages. The community had held us and especially CLARA in it's arms. We are together!!! What a great community!!! I am with you!!! :o)b barbara ps..... be safe.....thinking of you!!! :o)b

My dear guide! I trust you, but it seems you begin to lose your way. I've asked Barbara to re-consider again. UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL, this is exactly what WS is waiting for and wants to see. As we all quit. There won't be anymore protests and complants everyday. Everything apparently returns to normal. Moreover, in my opinion, as we all pull out, I think this is quite unfair to all our WS friends leaving behind. We all are in such a nice family from around the world. This is truly incredible. As you said in Barbara's guestbook, you still have beautiful shots from your trips. I'M WAITING!!! Please kindly think it over again my dear Italian guide. I'm longing for an album of Dolomites from you, just from you, not from others! God Bless You! CS

Hi ruggero. I am writing to you quickly because I know you are going on holiday and I wanted you to be aware of this before you go. I have decided to pull my albums from webshots. I fear for our future there...even leaving won't make any difference to them. They will be happy as long as they have their mindless spring breaking losers sending them money. I am sad what has happened and I dread leaving all of you, but I will pop up in a better site and maybe I will be visited there. I have always been concerned about having my images out there for anyone to take anyhow. So this morning I decided to drop out. I am not the only one. You will hear of more. Please stay in touch by mail. I value you and your friendship so much. :o(b

I will be hiking in the Alps in 10 days (Vercors : french Alps) and I hope I will have thepleasure to see as wonderful landscapes as yours. Thanks for the cool training through your album :) Thanks too for your so gentle comment on my Les Fontaines album. Have a nice week-end and a great week Ruggero, friendly, Chantal

Hi Friend! I just have to come back to express my unhappiness about Clarita! Everytime I see her guestbook, I feel sad! Though my homepage is finally updated today, so what? In my opinion, WS is CERTAINLY HAVING SOME SORT OF DISCRIMINATION!!! Frankly speaking, whether my album is featured or not, I don't truly mind. I don't trust WS. I am ever in doubt about what professional quality they have to select featured album. I join Webshots simply because I want to share my photos with friends from around the world. I like talking with people from around the world. Anyway, we all continue to support Clarita. Thank you very very very much for informing me to join the force. God Bless You! CS

Ciao Ruggero! Luca

Dear Ruggero, I showed my husband, inside my Desktop Installation, your shots in this album. He said you must be a professional!!! Not only because you know how to make use of your camera, but you also pay attention to weather, light, angles of shooting. He enjoyed these shots very, very much, envying your youth and good health! His best compliments to you for such a beautiful work. Gabriela (on behalf of Yoshiyuki Tanaka)

Hello friend! I'm not sure by the time you read this message, my homepage is still kept updated or not. You know WS can always keep UPDATING THE OUTDATED homepage AS THEY WISH!!! This is exactly what I've been experiencing for the past couple of days! Anyway, we all still hope for the best. Back to this new album. As I've said to you AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!!! Every scenery album of yours is INCREDIBLE AND UNBEATABLE!!! I have a dream that one day, I will hire you as my personal guide, maybe for a month, (enough? surely not! give me your quotation! HA HA HA!) to tour and hike around the whole of northern Italy, the Italian Alps .... Now the selection ..... the wood old giant, very interesting ... last tree, last flowers, they all are not lomesome ... AND ON THE TOP!!! Is that what is left behind! WHERE IS THE HERO??? I did received a call from Italy (country code 618), the man said that he was going to disappear at a mountain top, then ..... Thank you very much Ruggero, for taking me along with you in this hiking. Cheers! CS

The song of Creation! YES! What is most amazing in this album, I think, is that I can feel the clearer than clear mountain air. And the special sound of nature. My favorites are everything: The flowers, the mountains, the beautiful lake and the snow. I also smiled when I saw the "on the top" photo that you sent me several times as a thumbnail. It's a great picture, but I think the path is no less important than the destination. I'm in a philosophic mood, I guess, but a good one. This album is truely a fantastic treatment for the soul. It simply brings serenity. I hope you will also have a wonderful time in Southern Italy. Such a beautiful country you have!! One more hug :-) Orly

Dearest FRIEND Ruggero, I am so glad to be the first to congratulate you in this wonderful album. Specially for me( and you know why) if somebody walks all this path and plus takes beautiful photos , that is a task of a GIANT (better a "macro" giant,eh eh)!!!And you do it and did it. I love shots 1, 37,40,46,58 the most. But allso 10,17,19,26 and 27...as you see almost all. Fantastic place, great photos and your captions make it still nicer as I would be hiking the same path..Glorious colors, can almost feel the sun on my skin in this gorgeous place. Thank you for lending me your feet, your camera and artistry. Warmest hugs, as always/caterina
