This photo of the World Trade Center is a symbol of the financial power of our nation. The statue of Liberty is a symbol of our nation's freedom. Although our nation is a melting pot of many nationalities, let us not forget that our forefather's intended America to be a Christian Nation. We need to continue to seek God's guidance during this time of upheavel in this great land of ours. Pray for the families who have lost loved ones as a result of this horrific crime against humanity. The tragic events of September 11th have truly devastated our country. Not only is there a hole in the beautiful skyline of New York, but a grave sadness in our hearts. May this catastrophe serve as a wakeup call to us all - I believe that God has not caused, but allowed this to happen - we have taken Him out of so many aspects of our lives - we need to make wiser choices with the freedom of choice He has given us. May we all put our priorities in order, grow closer to God, and make our life choices with Him in mind. God Bless Us All!

The World Trade Center, a sight to behold forever gone. Thank you for sharing this beautiful memory with all of us. I think the entire civilized world is as shocked as we are at the cruelty and inhumanity that was shown by the actions of Sept. 11. But we as a country, if not the entire civilized world, will remain strong in the face of this evil and retaliate with the appropriate actions of due punishment upon the person(s) responsible for this action.

Thank you for having the WTC picture out here. I needed to see for myself, somehow, what NY looked like before the devastation. Seeing it only makes me want to cry, but it provides perspective to those of us not intimately familiar with the city. So many innocent lives lost...and for what?
