  • I never expected anyone to visit my albums, glad you liked them. I like visiting lighthouses, it gives me a reason to travel and visit places I wouldn't otherwise see. I'm trying to get pictures of all the lighthouses in Nova Scotia (about 170), the others are a bonus for now. FYI, the first number in the filename represents the official NOTMAR List of Lights light number. The NOTMAR website is http://www.notmar.gc.ca/. The list only contains active navigation aids, so pictures of retired lighthouses don't have a number. Another good site to get information about Nova Scotia lighthouses is the Nova Scotia Lighthouse Preservation Socitety web site at http://www.nslps.com/.
