Thanks Mike, for your comments in my Africa album. We had a wonderful time and there were way too many elephants for my part. They chased us too much. One kicked dirt at me in the vehicle. I love this album of closeups. Great photography. By the way, I am planning to be in Zurich on November 7. We are staying at the Astoria Hotel on Lake Lucerne. Thanks for your advise on the trip. Hi Mike, greetings from Finland! I like this album of yours very much. The green leaf and the sunflowers represent the warmth, the light and the beauty of summer. Very wonderful pics! Just what I needed here. Our winter has been so weird. One day frost and snow, next days rain and total darkness. Not a real winter. And no sunshine at all. So, thanks for bringing some colour here! Die Sonnenblumen sind einfach grossartig; Vielen Dank für Deine Gästebucheinträge; Habe verschiedene Programme zur Bildbearbeitung und benutze meistens mehrere für ein Bild - eine kostenlose Probierversion von Photoshop war ab und zu auch mal dabei - aber auch die Freeware photofilre ist ganz gut; die meisten black&white sind auch solche; farbig war auf jeden Fall mal der "Sonnenuntergang am Meer" (habe lange nach einem Sonnenuntergang gesucht, der sich auch schwarzweiss ganz gut macht und mich dann für diesen entschieden; die "Ballonfahrt& quot;, sowie "Garmisch&qu ot; und "im Zoo", welches einfach black&white mehr die Aussage des Bildes unterstreicht (finde ich); viel Spass weiterhin beim Ansehen meiner und auch anderer Bilder (es gibt glaube ich, auch noch andere ganz gute schwarzweiss photos....) Herzliche Grüsse von Uwe.

Hi Mike, I welcome your kind comments in my Mountain's album and appreciate you stopping by to take a loot. I had a lot of fun shooting those pictures, as you did in this album. Your eye does pick out the closeup shots, the sunflower gives out much to take. You could take the closest of closeups within the center of this flower and depending how very close you could get, could make a photo out of it that no one could guess what it was. Take just about any subject and try something out. Its called experimenting, but its just as fun trying different aspects of photography while not doctoring up the subject. Luck to you, just keep it fun. This album is quite fine, subjects too. I'd like to help you come up with a name of those mushrooms, but I'm not really good at it, but there must be someone around here that can help. Thanks a lot for your visit and come back again. Ron

CIAO Mike e SCUSA il Grande ritardo con cui ho visitato gli splendidi fiori che hai aggiunto! La scorsa settimana ero in giro per Appennini ed Alpi a far da guida ad Orly (Orlyyahalom) (INCREIBILE vero? :-) :-) ) e questa settimana sono ancora lontano da casa, ma per motivi di lavoro.... :-( :-( Che dire che non sia gia' stato detto su quest'album? Le macro sono bellissime e ribadisco che i girasoli stagliati sul cielo sono una meraviglia, ti chiedo scusa per non averti detto prima quanto sono belli ed originali i dettagli delle zucche e infine applaudo le ultimemacro floreali che hai aggiunto. Da sempre penso che Webshots ha in te un grande fotografo e la cura nella ricerca di punti di vista originali che hai messo in ogni foto me lo conferma... Great photos. When traveling it is always so hard to pick the time of day to take shots of flowers. I always found early morning or late afternoon made the shadows stronger and the photos a little less bright. Great job. I enjoyed this album too! Gin the artist
