Hi Jeanie, your pictures are marvellous! My favorite is #9 - the eyes are wonderful! I also appreciate your interesting captions, they help me to enhance my English knowledge in zoology (always highly appreciated)! Regarding your comments in my album "Panda bears - Spring to Fall": I fully agree with your observations regarding some visitors of a zoo! I am often very angry, sometimes I do speak to people who provoke the animals, knock at the windows, use flash and so on, but you will know from your own experience, that will lead to nothing in most of the cases. As for the children at the Panda enclosure: there was no danger for the children, there is glass in between and Yang Yang realized that she will never get a carot and went away, that clever animal! If there is a glass enclosure there is always some lawn around and a low wall in order to keep people away from the glass. Of course it is not allowed to climb at that wall.. I am sorry about the bison, a very sad story! Thank you for all the interesting details you told me! best wishes from Vienna, Vera

Great- nosed Proboscis ! I've neiher seen them nor heard their biological names. Good information. Douc lang looks like he is about to start crooning, "Billi Jean". Good expressions.
