  • My thanks to allalanne for the corrections on the species, I have changed the names in my albums. It's important to me that I get these correct. If anyone else notices anything that needs changing, let me know here, and I'll change it. Thanks to all who viewed my albums. Hilltop Pooh AKA Jeanie Peterson

  • Hi Jeanie, thanks so much for the nice comments on our grandteton wildlife album. The golden eye is a female barrows golden eye duck. I loved your primates album, keep up the great work, Ronnie and Frances Howard

  • Hi Jeanie, this is a very nice album! Do you really intend to delete it? However, I enjoyed it very much. My favourites are #12, 18, 20, 23... Thank you for visiting my albums and for your interest in my photos and the zoo! By the way: the Panda enclosure in the Zoo Vienna is quite large and there are many trees and bushes (considerably grown in the last three years), so that the bears can easily hide if they want to. They have three ponds, a nice peninsula etc. As for the swing: the keeper told me once (sort of regrettfully) that they never use the swing. But when I was there for the NEXT day I found Long Hui sitting on the swing and Yang Yang climbing on the tree where the swing is attached to and looking down at him. No, he did not move the swing, he was rather trying to get hold on the "strange moving thing". I have observed this just on June 23rd, 2005 and never again. My e-mail is panda.panda@chello.at. Best wishes from cold and NOT springlike Vienna (Austria), Vera
