  • I was viewing your album and enjoyed that it is one of few I have visited that is well captioned. A couple of questions - Being early November, how much snow was on the ground that you needed snowshoes? How cold was it? I would think I would want a thermos of hot chocolate vs. beer. I see that the lakes are still not frozen over. Where is the Crystal Range? Nothing you mentioned indicates where the pictures were taken. North Cascades of Washington? California? New Mexico? Curious.

  • OOPS? I did see you left Sacramento Airport and mention meeting in Sonoma County. What National Forest or Park is the Crystal Range in? Also, how long a hike with what kind of elevation are you dealing with. Looks like a nice place to visit.
