Hi Roger, Oh I LOVE your Alps too this is just such a fantastic album and really makes me want to visit.I know that the wild flower meadows are just wonderful too. Again I think what makes your pictures so special is the intense blue sky. Now thank you for your lovely GB entries, compliments from someone who takes such fantastic pictures really do mean a lot and my apologies for taking so long to get back to you. Finding someone who loves the mountains and understands how special they are too is wonderful. I will return for sure as you have many more albums tempting me :o) Take care now Jill

Hi Ruggero!! Great work!! Have a nice Xmas and a happy newyear... NewsHi clarita!! How's life? Your talent is admirable... as ever. News: There is a new, great and (temporarily) FREE denoise program: Picturecooler. Made by a Dutch boy. Great success on the Retouch Forum of www.Dpreview.com: they prefer it about all other programs (also the ones which cost money) such as Neatimage or Noise Ninja. For a download go to: http://members.chello.nl/r.kroonenberg2/ You can try it out but you will need a (sofar FREE) serialnumber. Send a mail to Ronnie and he will mail it. r.kroonenberg2@chello.nl Later it will cost 40 dollars.... Greetings Anna

Hi Ruggero, there is so much to love about this album, its hard to know where to begin. Its defintely one of your best. Your use of foreground objects to bring out the background is particularly notable. And the colors and compositions are stunning. Are you shooting digital or film? Thanks for your comments on my Big Sur album which is the coast of California, south of Carmel, California where Clint Eastwood used to be mayor. I like number 47 (the B&W) a lot too and even submitted it to a photo competition, but the judges didn't share my enthusiasm. It didn't even get honorable mention. C'est la vie! Ciao! Lowell

Ha Ha Ha :-D We do have human dinosaurs in Israel! I don't know much about the other dinosaurs. I don't know what cornivorous is. But it's possible that what you saw is really a footprint of a dinosaur because it was a little wet, and I think that in the age of dinosaure Israel was covered by the sea... and so was Italy. You have a strange imagination... but I like it. I'm waiting for more of your albums... UN FORTE ABBRACCIO - Orly

Hi Ruggero, thank you for looking at my roses ....wow, that was a week ago! Shame on me! It was a wild week! Yes, the rose you have chosen was still free. In fact my business is kind of low and slow. People are busy with Christmas! I really like, that you compare your rose to a wonderful girl, so I added that to the caption! Here is a shortcut straight to your rose: http://community.webshots.com/photo/208108430/208178168vaGtCt Looking at this spring album I am thinking how this place may look like now? It is such a beautiful place. Now in winter the pictures look even more beautiful - because it is so far away, so much time till spring again. My favorite picture is that twin tree #51 - alone on the beach. I like trees and this is such a perfect tree. The twinkling, perfectly clear water is an excellent background. Please go on, maybe a little wonder during the Christmas time: show us some more :-) please :-) maybe a great come back? :-) Have a beautiful day - Galit from Israel

Ciao Ruggero! Wow!! You are a master, and your shots are superb like always!! The typical stone house (#19), the landscape (#23), the bridge (#42), the quiet place with a little house (#48) and the tree alone on the lake are my big favorites (true masterpieces!). UN GRANDE APPLAUSO!! Have a nice weekend, Tatiana

Ciao Ruggero, in effetti non mi sono ancora ripresa dallo shock. Il numero delle persone che hanno visto gli album e di quanti hanno scritto, mi ha fatto restare di stucco!!! GULP!!! Simona

Ciao Ruggero, so glad to see a new album of yours....I loved the nature walk that you shared here, the scenery is stunning! Must have been a divine silence hiking amid the trail to the Lake. I loved #51 the best as it just looked like the perfect place to sit and take in all the natural wonder. A great place to be inspired and write! Such a beautiful day to go out and enjoy the breath taking views of the Alps. Grazie Mille as always Ruggero for a spectacular tour into your insight of perfect beauty. Take care and always let natures blessings keep you wanting more!!! Ciao my friend and all the best, amy :)

Dear Ruggero, I really hope that you will have time to read my salute... there are so many well wishers already here that my words might be supperfluos or even boring. I can not be first, second any more, when I return from work the place is filled with wonderful words from your friends. Good for you and I am happy for you. You turned out a WEBSHOTMASTER , since Debra (dbooth) indicated me your name as a promising photographer, much water flow under the bridges and many beautiful photos did you upload into exquisite albums. All of them have their own enchantment and beauty. This one is not exception of course: # 18 is one of my favorites, 12, 13, 21, 47, 48 and the list is long. Time is a tirane and all we have our hectic life and pace, but I still come in almost every day to check on my favorites members. Only I am a little late. I SALUTE you as a poet with a camera and a man with a golden heart. Caterina/Kathy

Ciao Ruggero! Hello, Ruggero! I have no words to express the beauty you have captured during your hike! It is like a walk in paradise. The meadows, the lake, the carpet of flowers and the beautiful quaint villages on the way add marvellous scenery. The photographs are better than the best I see in any travel magazine or the glossiest fashion and Nat Geo magazine. Really, Ruggero, you are a master of taking such fantastic pictures for others to enjoy. I thank you so much for sharing these with us. Take care, my friend! With warm regards, Suresh

You're better and better every day my friend... I know I gonna be irritating once more, but really, sincerely, I'm totally unable to satisfy your critics request, once again... Everything in this album is what I'm living for, what I would like to have every day of my life. On top of this, if you're really able to "walk over the water", this is the proof that you are closer to God than to the "commun human photographer", you cannot say the contrary, can you? These are not just "shots" , these are the Beauty digitallized... "Death and life" is a masterpiece and my favorite one. I will come back to download all these treasures when my boss leaves for his home. I can tell you which ones I won't download: they are #18 and #32, 33 because their vertical orientation cannot fit my screen. Sorry to deceive you but all this is really really awesome...

Sante in Olanda.

Ciao Ruggero mi amico! This album is so wonderful I can't even express it with my bad English ;-) or any other language... Seriously our servers are very slow today (not a Webshots problem) but I didn't mind it, I just viewed every picture for a long time and forgot about everything else. So I think you really succeeded here in transmitting the feeling of walking in your Alps. It's too bad we had to wait 6 months to see these pictures, but on the other hand I'm sure that I enjoyed them more now, because - unlike the last time I wrote you - now we have heavy rain and dark clouds and thunderstorms. So your photos are very brightening. Excuse me that I don't choose a list of favorites because it would be too hard but again I love the flowers with the snowy mountains like in the cover or number 12. It's fabulous. Wow I can't imagine you have so many more photos that you haven't published yet. They should give you a vacation from work. Meanwhile une grande grand abbraccio! Orly

Ooooooooops! Let me continue ... Now I truly believe Italian Alps is also ever ever ever so attractive. I also start to get a clearer picture ... late spring or early summer perhaps is a more appropriate time for sunny weather, autumn time is rainy and misty, as you have said before ... two months raining days. Similarly I can't have any specific selection for this album, because I like all of them! Pink, green, blue, white, and even the rocky mountains, all are perfectly matched, especially through your eyes, through your camera. Congratulations to you again for your great work. Thank you very much, dear friend! CS
