What a clever album. The cup cakes looked good enough to eat. The images were crisp and clean and well done. Hi Candi, Great shots again! I started to write down which were my favorites, but then I liked each one better than the next! I do love "Ice on chain link fence" and "Snow on Rust". I find that one so interesting. How big is that rusted object? I also loved "Snow on the Cedar branch". It was 5 degrees here today, you must have been very adventerous to be out taking pictures today!

Candi, one minute I can feel the warmth of a crackling fire when I look at some of the Christmas ornaments in this album. The next minute I want to grab a blanket to keep warm! Hello Candi, Thanks for answering my question but that much I did know. My Sony Cybershot camera comes with a micro setting and I have used it on photos in my flowers album. But someone suggested I should get a Micro lens because you can do special effects with it. Said my photos would be a even better. Do you know if this an additional lens or filter they where talking about that I need to work with the already Micro setting installed on my Camera? Really I was happy with the way my close up on my flowers turned out, but always open to improvement suggestions since I am far from being a Pro.. Love my digital, but still learning since I only got it last year. Now to visit another of your albums. Take care Laura

Hello Candi, I just looked at Page 4 of the album, more nice additions since I looked in last time. I particularly like the Snow on Rust picture, really nice patterns. The Rusted "thing" looks like a pulley wheel from a flat belt driving system. There may be proper terms for a flat belt system that I do not know and it may not be from such a system but if the wheel is about 6 inches wide, flat on the outside surface, and would fit securely on a shaft through the center hole then it could be from a flat belt system. Flat belts were used in factories with overhead shafts to power machines as well as stationary engines and earlier tractors. It looks like an old item so you may have to find an old person in the area who might have the answer but I think my idea is feasible. Other pictures I particularly like are the Weeds Amid Snow and the Snow Amid Rocks. We got a good snowfall today and since it came from the north it may have visited you first. If it did then you must be at least knee deep, or more, in snow now so I hope you are keeping warm but getting around outside easily. It must be tough on Bug though. I am looking forward to the next installment of Winter Macros. Keep well and God bless, Carl

Hi Candi, what a wonderful album, the feature is well-deserved. All the pictures are great, but the peintures by Frost are my favourites. I have always hoped to make such pictures, but Frost didnot succeed in doing so well at my windows, unfortunately.
