Hi Beth, How lovely is your new toy! Isn't it amazing the difference that taking away the flash makes. That rose is just simply gorgeous and I loved the first shot! Also great to see the artworks and I loved them and that gorgeous cat. The photos of Mimis mum and brother is just absolutely stunning my friend and you have certainly got some great shots of the beutiful rose. You have a lovely collection of beauty that surrounds and I can feel your joy with the new camera. I want to thank you also for your lovely words re Murals and if I lived closer I would definitely be there to do that for you. Am in Sydney at the moment and probably going to do a big one soon. At the moment I am finishing off works for my first exhibition (at the near age of 49) Well, as they say, better now than never hey. Hi Beth thank you very much for the GB's you are so kind with the words, It is amazing the cameras these days, recently (Feb) on a cruise I went in the Jaccusi for 15 mins with my camera in my pocket, It took two days to get the condensation out . It works perfectly now except the flash. It gave me the chance to buy a new one but Carolynn uses it OK. This new toy of yours certainly takes some good pictures the Roses are beautiful, have a good weekend Ken

Beth, thank you for your concerned sentiments. Fortunately, my family and friends are fine. You know the extent of damage Indonesia and Srilanka have suffered. Fortunately, South India was hit less severely. The total casualty is now estimated at more than 150,000 and still counting. I hope 2005 brings better cheer. We can only pray. Dear Beth, Nikon will have to start paying you commision fees after this gorgeous album has helped to bump up their sales!!!!!!! Your photographs are totally delightful - I am very taken with your darling pets of course but hugely with'Peace' the colour showing so true for that magnificent rose (I have several in my garden too I love it so like you Beth.)How does the camera go with the reds? I find that the most difficult to photograph in my blooms and get a true match.Now Beth if you love celebrating the 'Feastive Season' with colour pop into my 'the Fab the Fun the Frilly cards 4 You 'album. Hi Beth, Glad you are enjoying your new toy. I don't know anything about your model but I have the Nikon Coolpix 5700 and I love the results I get from that. The 3700 looks like it is very good too, and if it's so small will be much better for your vacations. I took my Cannon A80 on my holiday this time as it fits in my pocket so is much easier to travel with. Veronica and Oma are both adorable and I know it's not easy with the black fur.
