There certainly are lots of reason to visit Nawlins, aren't there, Ted. I was down there several months prior to Katrina, was scheduled to lead a Task Force down there after the flood (but FEMA was involved, so that was a cluster.) Anyway, it's one of my favorite places, and zoos are ALWAYS fun. Keep up the great camera work! - Fred

Hi Ted; What an outstanding album. Every time I visit a city, I like to visit the zoo. I have never seen your beautiful white tiger in person before. You got some fabulous shots. Congratulations on a really fabulous album. I think my favorites were of the Giraffes. I think the lighting is outstanding. You must have been there in the late afternoon, perhaps. Catch their faces with half in the sun and half in the shadows was great.I also wanted to thank you for your kind words on my featured album of Japanese Gardens about a month ago. I have since added 14 more pictures that I took a few days ago at another Japanese Garden in the Seattle Arboretum. I also have many photos that I added to my Life at the beach album. Our weather here has been just beautiful and we know that in the next few days, the rains will come and the sunny days will be gone until springtime. Good Morning Ted! Wow..great shots of that white tiger. We have them at the zoo but can't get very close as they are way behind a glassed in cage. Hope all is well with you and your family! Thank you also for keeping us in your thoughts during Wilma's visit. We live about 50 miles north of where Wilma's eye first entered Florida, but we weren't taking any chances. We drove another 200 miles north to central Florida to escape any possible miscalculation by the weather people. When we returned yesterday, we found substantial vegetation damage, but not much more than that. South and east of us the people were not nearly as lucky. How are you and yours making out in the days and weeks after Katrina and Rita? I hope things are returning to some sense of normalcy, although for many it probably won't return to total normalcy for years to come, if ever!

I absolutely love this beautiful and witty album full of animals of the wild that are captured in such a delightful way. The comments I just love. You have a beautiful album here. I know it all along you are a great photographer. You captured the spirit and emotions of the animals. Thank you for your entry in my pet album guest book a time ago. I'm sorry for not responding to it. Out beautiful home village suffered a fire last year. Trough our home wasn't burned I loosed my entire electronics incl. the computer with a cable fire. We wend to the states to replace it all. And while we was traveling with our RV we was robed twice. So our beloved Paamul and we we needed a time to recover. But we are back now. We haven't forgotten but we recovered. Paamul is more beautiful than before and I own a new Computer and my first digital camera. Thank you for signing my guestbook Sunday (12/20/04) when Webshots featured my - It Is All Good - album. Webshots has certainly grown up since I first joined this site back in 2000. It has become such an international site. It is wonderful. Who signed my guestbook: 3 from Australia, 3 from England, 2 from the Netherlands, 2 from Italy, 4 from Canada, 2 from Finland, , 1 from Japan, Lebanon, Belgium, Malasia, Germany, and Madrid, 14 from the USA (2 of whom are my home town and I do not know them), 2 who have been so many places I could not tell where they were from and one complete mystery person Pierre. I would like to venture out into the world. So if any of you want to do some emailing for a while to swap information about our cultures, I would really be interested in that. Hi Ted, Thanks for visiting my featured album, and thanks for your kind words. I use the Canon DRebel with the kit lense and a rather low quality Tamron 70-300mm, very hard to get sharp pictures, such as yours! The tiger photos in this album are stunning, they are so sharp! I can almost touch those whiskers (not a good idea!)- I love your comments too. It looks like the fellow really posed for you! That shot where he yawns, you see every detail on his tongue. Excellent shots, enjoy your 300D! Ina in Canada
