  • Thank you all, dear friends. I'm so happy you like these photos, because almost all of them are views I get from the windows of my house, so it's a little like being my guests :-). Rboise: The mountain in pics 1, 2, 10 and 11 is in the western Alps and is called Monte Rosa (Pink Mountain). It's the second high mountain in Europe (Monte Bianco - White Mountain, not far, being the first) and it has a really nice pink color that can be enjoyed at sunsrise in clear mornings (but the name doesn't come from this). So when I'm finished shaving and I look out of my bath-room window to check the weather, it's the best "Good morning" I get :) Ale

  • Hi Ale, You can see so much from your rooftop, probably more than most. I'd look out for those stormy clouds and lightning nights if I were you, a roof top isn't a place to be during those kinds of nights. A nice array of photos, all kinds of different light. What's the name of the mountain range where you were shooting? Best regards from the Oregon Coast. Ron

  • If this is from your roof top, you are a very lucky person. I love the colors and the mountain combo. Thanks for taking a moment to check out my photos. You have traveled far more than me. Someday, you will need to come to Arizona and see them for yourself. The Slot Canyons are awesome to behold with your own eyes. Kathleen from So CA.

I feel sorry for them, spero que i miei album riempiano quel vuoto. I am thrilled! Write to me if you wish at Natalia613@aol.com e ti mandero' qualsiasi foto che vuoi. Grazie ancora! Carmela. P.S. Non ho potuto trovare gli albums del fotografo che mi hai menzionato. Qual'e' il nome che usa per Webshots?

  • Hello Ale, Many thanks for the kind words and insight to my album of "Fog". I love seeking new experiences, and although fog is not a new one, catching photo images in it is. As you say, it changes our insight of everything. A wonderful experience. I've been viewing your albums and love them. Especially the images of your homeland. I have a special place in my heart for Italy, as I lived in Pisa for over 3 years. Your country and culture has to be the best on the planet, and I miss it very much. Your rooftop shots are simply wonderful, and I'm thrilled for the opportunity to view them. Keep on taking them, and I'll keep on viewing them. Greetings and happy regards from Sharon in Virginia

  • Dear Ale, many thanks for visiting my albums and the awesome comments, always very humbled and greatly appreciate the time. You asked me some questions about Japan which I am only too happy to tell you my opinion on it. I am glad you enjoyed the shots. I lived there for 2 1/2 years and moved 3 times. Osaka was first, then Kobe and lastly Tokyo. Tokyo I feel is just like every other big city in the world and yes has become pretty Americanized, there are some sights but I feel that you can actually skip that place at together. The REAL Japan that is worth seeing/ experiencing for yourself would be Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and maybe Kobe. Well, Osaka and Kobe maybe not as high on the list but still a pretty good insight into the culture. My fav. was Kyoto, I loved how they mixed the old with the new, new part of the city being right in the middle with the old parts hugging the outside. I enjoyed it there everytime and went up there at least 5 times +. I don't think you will be disappointed. Oh, and if you can take in a Sumo Basho, to see it live is amazing ( the only time the Japanese really show expression!!!)! Ok, so I hoped that the info, helped your decision in going or not. Would love to hear what you end up doing or going, keep in touch. Take care and only too happy to help you out in a vacation decision anytime! :) Have a wonderful weekend and smile always, amy

  • Ciao Ale! Renato.

  • Hi Ale!! WOW!! You see all that beauty from your rooftop!! I am elated...That is your little piece of Heaven my friend!! Golden Twilight over the Alps is just spectacular and who can go passed the beauty of Maria E Gli Angeli, that is just awesome with I assume the Moon behind. The Lightning shot is fabulous and each and everyone of these is just living beauty captured wonderfully. Thank you soo much for your beautiful words in my Sunflower album! It has been raining out here which is fabulous as there is soo much of the land in drought..especially inner where the farmers are driven from the dry of the land...so all is a blessing, and man has to learn to capture water a whole lot better than he has. If not, we shall be out of fresh water in 20 years in our land...so pray that man has some great genius to come along and put what is common sence into a forthright plan..Like channelling all the water inland instead of into the ocean. Anyways..I am heading off soon on my adventure...hopefully in 2 weeks! I did have a lot of other nice pics, but they are on my computer which is in sick or depleted bay!!...Anyways...your words are such an inspiration as always...and I thank you from the bottom of my heart and shall be back oneday in the future:)) Flowers always make me smile...even when it rains as it was with the Sunflowers from up the hill behind...Just one wild tree left with a few blooms.....and the Winter of their life has come...and the seeds shall drop..and then up they shall spring in the New Year, grow, and bloom again!...Take care my friend...and tks for sharing your gorgeous album full of magical beauty...and not to forget those stunning Daffodils that you have on your Balcony. Kiss one for me....Have a really great day...and cya soon..Luv & Hugs...Emxxx
