  • Hello Ted. I live in a zone where single it snows sporadically. Last important snow was in 1985. Perhaps therefore and by the beauty that the snow and the ice always contribute to us, I love all the images of winter. I have great mountains close where always there is snow in winter and almost all winters I go to them to enjoy the snow-covered landscapes. Therefore I have enjoyed this album his, because many the simple thing is most beautiful. A hug my good friend. Jesus.

  • Hi Ted! Thanks for your message. It really was a wonderful hike with wonderful people. There is something wrong with Webshots Favorite Members list - This album still doesn't appear in mine!! Anyway, I enjoyed it belatedly. I loved the photos of the icicles on the trees and on the statue. I too appreciate the beauty of snow because we have very little here. There are some mountains in Israel where it snows every winter or in some winters, but in the coast where I live it haven't snowed since 1950! Thank you for sharing these photos. Have a nice weekend!   • Hello Ted, a magical world you show us here. I had to search the word sleet in a dictionary, so I have learned a bit more today. The pictures in this album are great though. My favorite one is Sky Cristals. Thanks very much for sharing. Thanks also for your kind words on my featured album Frosty World, it is very much appreciated. I too like this picture that you downloaded, I use it sometime as a SS too. When I came around the corner and I saw these trees, I really said Wooow to myself. It was such an amazing sight, so beautiful. And I am glad that it came out so well in the picture. I am very pleased with this album myself and therefore was very glad with the feature. The Zoo albums are very much fun!I like your captions! And I like very much the many faces in both albums, especially those of the white Tiger and the Gorillas! I am impressed! Gorgeous shots! I like Your Christmas Story. That is a Fairytale, too! So not only I write Fairytales! I enjoyed to see that someone took your camera to bring us your surprise! A wonderful surprise! Thanks for introducing your beautiful family. You all look wonderful! The Wintermagic in the deep South looks strange - - and so cold! Sure by now there is nothing left but your pictures - I like the icy trees and the berries. Last week I went for a short visit to the Dead Sea.   • Thanks for your kind comments about my walk along the river. It rains almost constantly in the winter, so I don't get out too much. Looks like you might as well move to the Midwest. It wouldn't be much colder. Love this album. Hope you like your new camera. Seems to be doing a fabulous job for you. Doug
