Hi again Pam and I just looked in to see what you have been up to recently. I hope that camera of yours is not suffering from neglect!! Have you had problems getting about with all the snow we have read about over there? We have been the other extreme with temperatures up in the low to high 30'sC most days. To escape the heat we went down south recently for a couple of weeks and if you are interested the albums are On the Road 2005 and Fabulous Beaches of the Recherche Archipelago. They might warm you up a bit. I now look forward to the time when you are out and about in those Lakeland fells once again. Cheers, Peter in Western Australia

There are certainly some nice walks in your area that no doubt help to keep you in trim for the more arduous lakes hills. You mention you wish you had a longer lens on your camera and here you must excuse me if I gloat because early on last year I bought a new Olympus C750UZ that has a magnificent 10x zoom. This REALLY lets you get up close and personal with the wildlife and is the best thing since sliced bread!! Best wishes, Peter in WA
