Really enjoyed your mills album. I love to photograph them, and have shot many of the same ones. You also have many I've yet to visit. Excellent job with this album. Dave from SC

Some very good photo's of time preserved!! My dad originally from the Northwestern part of Tenneessee; these photos definately bring back some memories for me as a child, seeing what the slower movement of life has kept around for us as adults to still enjoy.

I love this album. My Grandfather and Great Uncle helped to restore Washington Mill at Mt. Vernon, Va. They were Millwrights by trade. My Father and Uncle were also Millwrights but were to young to help. Thanks again for the memories.

Just viewed your latest album and loved it just as much your others!! We love visiting the US, and looking at all the photos only gives us more places to visit. We're going to Pennsylvania in July and want to check out some covered bridges and barns. Would love to hear from anyone who knows the locations of any. Thanks for sharing all your albums. Best wishes from England. Sheilah

Hello John, Thank you for sharing your beautiful album with us, and a BIG CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR POTD. Rather than fill your probably over full mailbox, I thought would put my comment here and say I thoroughly enjoyed viewing all the Grist Mills you have carefully collected here. I see you have a message from my mad Mate Keith -aka - Magikeith, from him that was indeed High Praise, also the comment from Brian - aka - Waterl00 is high praise too .... Thanks again for sharing, Enjoy your day in the spotlight, Kind regards, Trish from Australia

Loved the photo of Norris Dam mill. I visited this location many years ago and found that the entire area in Tennessee is beautiful. Just a note--you may want to change the photo title spelling from 'damn' to 'dam.'

Ilove the old mills. You've done a great job with these. Some I've seen some I have not. I wish there were field guides for them like there are for waterfalls. As the years go by it's going to be harder and harder to find them. Dave from Spartanburg

It's hard to choose a favorite album of yours because they're all great and you choose such good subjects. This one is especially of interest to me because we don't have many mills around here, if there are some left, I haven't found them yet. Great work!

Fantastic photos! All of your albums are full of excellent pictures. Thank you for the nice comments on my albums and the tip regarding the website http//:www.ohiobarns.com. Did I understand that this is your own website? Wow! It's great! It will help me decide which barns I want to visit in the future without wasting time on ones that are more mundane. Also the map information permits one to plan a trip in an effective way. Thanks! Let's keep in touch. I know of some barns that aren't on that website yet. Bill Cable
