    • Hello Chris. Beautiful album, beautiful photos, beautiful sunrises. What I'd give to be in Australia right now!! Our weather is already turning VERY cold and frosty and we're still in autumn!! We have been forcast a very severe winter, which I'm not looking forward to, as I don't like cold weather. Brrrr.. Never mind. It was SO kind of you to comment on my post boxes. I appreciated hearing from you. It's always fun having a feature, but it's even more fun when friends stop by. I hope you are well. Take care. Luv n'hugs, Jayne/West Midlands, UK :) xx

    • Hi Chris. It must have been hell staying in that unit with all the wonderful views.lol. You have some photos of Mt Tamborine views. One of them has a house in it. I was thinking what a bugger it would be to live there looking out over your kingdom. Thanks for visiting my pages so often. If you come again please nominate some photos that you like and I'll put them in my "Favorites&q uot; album. Catch you later I hope. Hugs Al...

    • Hi Chrissy and I see you have added a few photos to this album while we were away. You are starting to build up a nice collection now and your photos are really great and a pleasure to look at. They also bring back many memories from our days over that side. Keep 'em coming! Peter

    • Hi Chrissy. I really liked your "View from Mt Tamborine" and the fisheye version. Why does the fisheye make it look like everything is in motion. Great effect.

    • Hi Chrissy, What a great album. The Gold Coast and I loved the sunrises....and the shots from Mt Tamborine. It is such a beautiful place and great photos of the beach too. You have been doing a great job with the camera girl. The photos are just beautiful and such a lovely album. Great shot of the boats with the skyscrapers in the background. Tks for sharing and enlightening nice memories of places often visited. Take care and have a great day. apologies for delay in replying, but haven't been on here much of late. Em

    • Thanks for the latest guestbook entry Chrissy and I'm glad you liked the photos. There is just so much to see in this wonderful country of ours and we certainly were very lucky to be able to do all that PLUS get paid for the pleasure too!! We were contracted to that company for seven years and got to see so much. Since those days they have split into separate States so there are not the opportunities now. If you ever want any advice on photo taking or want my opinion of any of your pics you can always email me at peterdud@iinet.net.au Thanks again and best wishes, Peter

    • Chrissy, these are super photos and I am so pleased to see you getting out and about and taking pics. That's the name of the game and the more the merrier. We are going away for a 10 day holiday in three weeks and in readiness I have 2 x 256 mb flash card for the Olympus and 1 x 256 mb card for the Kodak. I work at highest jpeg resolution so will be able to get about 800/850 photos all up. That way I can be sure of getting a few usable photos at least. Now just for fun have a look at my Journey Across Australia album posted yesterday. All photos were taken over two trips - in 1983 and 1987 - and they were all on colour slide film. By the way, we once photographed the little school at Mt Tambourine - would have been in 1987 Peter in WA
