Many of these photos are directly taken from the APOD, Astronomy Picture of the Day, website along with the written descriptions. The person that commented just before you said "thank you for so much for sharting your work!" Many of these photos are copyrighted and I doubt this deathdealer_666 has bothered to get permission from any of the authors/creators of the photos. Several of them have been contacted and are aware of their photos being used by this person. If you want these photos go this URL and you can get a CD of the photos used in 2006; http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html You can get this CD for FREE.

I enjoyed looking at this album. It took me a great deal of time (more than any other album) to add these great pics to my collection of Webshots. I made sure to add all the descriptions also, sure hope they are accurate. Not to be disrespectful but, you show no credentials and your member name isn't too comforting. ;) It is awesome to have all that info on 'em.

Of coarse these are not the work of an individual. In many of the pictures "credit" is mentioned. The work is in putting the information and pictures together from various web sites with the information that makes it interesting. This is not being presented as an individuals work. I appreciate the efforts to put this together.

Why are you presenting other peoples work as your own? Many or all of these photos are taken, without any apparent proper credit. How many pictures of "yours" have you taken from the APOD website? My guess is that you have taken all 99 photos are taken from APOD website.

Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the detailed explanations of what I am seeing in the photos. I love astronomy and space, but don't have a strong background, so the descriptions are important to me...I wish everyone would at least title their photos; so many great shots I've admired but didn't download because there was no clue what it was, other than PCT1001, or some such. Anyway, I have some idea from your descriptions that these shots took more time and effort than most. Thanks for sharing such beautiful views of our universe. I will appreciate them all the more for the info on each one that you've provided! I'm looking forward to viewing your cat and pet albums...congratulations on POTD!

I have spent the last 2 hours going through only a portion of these photos. I have learned so much and really appreciate you posting these for me and others to see. I don't care if you took the photos or not. They are beautiful and the comments were meaningful and reasonably simple enough for a lay-person like me to understand. What a pity it would be if webshots were totally a collection of photos of smiling faces taken at arms length or uncle Charlie's newest kittens.
