hI Luc I agree that the colouring in this albums is glorious and emphasises the incredible crisp clear sharpness of the intense cold.On the picture the cold does not show as very cold, it is worm on your pictures. Hello Luc, I loved your photos. I was looking at one which said the temperature was -48 Celsius!! That is completely unheard of to me! I live in Sydney, Australia and the absolute coldest it would get in Sydney in winter would be about 10 degrees Celsius at midday and maybe 1 or 2 degrees at night/early morning. And even that would be unusual! My brain cannot even handle the concept of -48 Celsius!! Your photos are beautiful and they have given me a better insight into your country. Hello Luc, back for a second time and I do like 'looking' at snow pictures, just don't want to be 'in' it. -48C is beyond description in my book, don't know how you can stand that much COLD. The horses make do fine in the sunshine, but what of the night, place to put them up and out of the cold or is outside where they stay? The 'Break Oven' picture, is it really? Rather large, how many loaves and how are they cooked. Interested and curious. Thanks again for putting all these pictures on your site. A good album. Crikey mate. You have some magnificent photos here. The one with the 2 boats makes them look like they're aground on a white beach. It's hard for me to imagine such an abundance of snow. Hi Luc! We're so thrilled to see your album featured; there are so many great shots. Sharon and I have both been watching the slideshow picking favorites. I think my favorite of all was No Fishing and The Sun Is Going Down a very close second. Then, of course, No Heat in the Outhouse brought back memories of my childhood--not good memories--but memories! Great photo! Hi Luc! I can see it is winter time there! Wow, what a lot of snow!! For me, living in South India, snow is as foreign as a martian landing in Manhattan! These are some of the best snow pictures I have seen in a while. I loved the first pictures of sun over snow fields. I also liked #15,27,31,36,48. The #54 was wild beyond imagination. Picture #56 was unbeleiveably beautiful! Thank you for sharing such lovely pictures. Right now in Madras it is 80 degrees F. So you can imagine, we live in the same planet, but different worlds!! Hi Luc, When it's wintertime in Canada it really means winter, very cold and lots of snow. In my place the temparature hardly comes below zero nowadays. So it's good to see what a really Canadian winter looks like and I must admit that Canada looks really beautiful under a white blanket. The manors, the churches, the landscape they all make a fantastic picture. I even must be a privilege to rest on a marvelous graveyard like "the old cemetary" or "le cimetiere Marin"! C'est toujours un plaisir de visiter vos albums: des vues professionelles du point de vue qualité, "humaines&qu ot; car transmettant à merveille ce qu'inspire le sujet - on croit etre a cote de vous, on s'impregne du paysage, de l'objet figure. A tel point que dans le cas present, on verifie le chauffage! Des vues "no sailing", "wind factor", "the sun is going down" (et les chevaux visiblement mecontents...)donnent une idee precise de ce qu'il peut faire froid dans ce pays...
