    • Are your green tree frogs professional models? Looks like they were posing! :-) Quite a neat album, and some gerat shots. Little critters are tough to capture. Cheers, Haig

This is really to let you know I have opened a second account with Webshots (I was getting close to my limit of photos in the original one). The great thing about this is that I have now been able to make you a favourite which means I'll get all your new photos automatically - good eh? Catch you later, Peter

    • Hi Chris and many thanks for your comments in my Blooming Garden guest book. That was all done on the spur of the moment - the whole operation from taking first photo to finishing the upload took just over three hours!! Re your green tree frog he is a dead ringer for the frog in Peter Brock's tyre adverts!! Now I know where they got that from! We have some bad weather forecast for next few days - certainly need the rain so will not be complaining. All best wishes, Peter

    • Chris, I'm impressed. Your Butterfly(#4) on the curving shoot is marvelous. How did you manage to capture a macro of the green tree frog (Another Green Tree Frog #12)? Did it just set still while you were close, or is this really a telephoto shot. I had a parakeet when I was a child and it rode on my shoulder. You photo of the Greenies #6 reminded me of my long gone pal. Ed/Albuquerque

    • Hi Chris, this is an exceptional beautiful album. I admire your patience! All those beautiful objects usually get away when I am approaching with my camera; that why I use to chase flowers..... they don't get away! I love the cover shot. Viewing it in full size shows every little feather of those beautiful wings. All of your pictures are so very clear and sharp. The frogs are gorgeous!!! And so is the Willy Wagtail! The wagtail picture is beautiful in the composition of the picture. It seems as if you two stood there and you said 'a little bit to the right....enough, a little bit lifting the head...now smile ...' ;-) - I am happy you liked my citrus blossoms! :-) Have a wonderful day! • hello Chris and thanks for your entry in my guest book. That was an old album I just changed around a bit. Now I've had a look at your latest album and am very impressed. Those finches in the bird bath would not have been still for very long at a time and I have never had any luck getting digi photos around our bird bath. I love the butterfly with open wings - a great, clear, photo. Do you know what type of butterfly it is? re the lizards I like the eye contact in Hi There and likewise the eye contact with the tree frog. Remind me to show you some pics of our resident strawberry eating bobtail sometime. I've been trying for ages to get a decent photo of a willy wagtail - they are never still and you have done exceptionally well to get this one. Kookaburras are never eaay because their colouring so closely matches their surrounds but A Bit Closer is great. I would be inclined to crop that photo a fair bit to concentrate on the bird. You have really done extremely well with this album, the more so as your choice of subjects are not known for giving the best co-operation! You can be proud of this. best wishes, Peter in WA

    • Hi Chris, what an honour to be the first to sign your guest book. There's a lot of interesting visitors in your back yard. And not a spider or toad among them! "With Open Wings" and "Hi There" are both great compositions. I've enjoyed looking at your work, and will be watching for more. Best wishes and keep up the good work, Keith.
