Hi Kaethi and Henri! You are so far ahead in your "March to Spring" than we are! I've had a few Snowdrops bloom and that's it! We have a beautiful scene this morning. It changed from rain, to freezing rain and a touch of snow last night, so all the trees and bushes are covered with a beautiful white frosting. I wish you two were here to go out and take photos for us! We won't today!!! Hallo Kaethi & Heinz, Dank fuer die lieben Eintragungen in meine Gaestebuecher und fuer die Einladung zum 'Coexistence'album auf Nancy's Webseite. Nein, ich kannte die Ausstellung noch nicht! Ich habe dieses Album ganz besonders genossen, vor allem wegen der vielen beigefuegten Zitate bedeutender Persoenlichkeiten. Ein Album, dass sicherlich viel Muehe gemacht hat. Herzlichen Glueckwunsch zu der neuen Webseite! Die vorige Seite ist ja sehr schnell voll geworden!!! Die beiden neuen Alben sind wunderschoen. Insbesondere dieses Fruehlingsalbum begeistert mich. Ich finde es ist ganz besonders gut gelungen mit all den Farben und Blumen die den Fruehling ankuendigen. Sicherlich wird es demnaechst ein 'featured album' werden!!! :-) Die Schneegloeckchen sind bezaubernd! Hier gibt es leider gar keine! Ueberhaupt von all den Blumen in diesem Album gibt es hier nur die Primeln, die Iris und die Violet. Hier sollen jetzt die Mandelbaeume bluehen, doch ich habe noch keine gesehen. Hallo Henri und Kaethi, auch ein sehr schoenes Album. Obwohl ich alle Bilder sehr schoen finde, habe ich 4 Bilder ausgewaehlt die ich am schoensten finde: nrs. 2, 19, 30 und 35. Man kann gut spueren dass euch im Sueden Europas wohnt, so vieles blueht schon bei euch. Bei mir im Garten sind es nur die Schneegloeckchen, und Winterakoniten die bluehen, und einen fruebluehenden Krokus. Vor kuerzem habe ich fuer den Garten auch eine Helleboris Orientalis gekauft. Ich finde das solche schoene Blumen! Das Wetter bei uns ist momentan schrecklich, kalt und viel Regen, mal ein bischen oben Zero dann wieder etwas darunter. Man hat nichts davon. Hello Kaethi and Henry! Enjoyed returning to this beautiful album. Your Iris and Daffodils make wonderful pictures, even up so close and personal. I have to admit that I did not know what Chaenomeles were, so did a Google Search and was surprised to find they are Flowering Quince. (I like stewed Quince, or Quince and Apple). Henri and Kaethi Wow! What a beautiful collection of Winter to Spring flowers, and you didn't have to drive 180 miles round trip to get the photos! How lucky you are to have all these gorgeous flowers around you. We have brown grass, waiting for more snow, frozen ground and no flowers outside until May. Then our Tulips, Iris, Crocus and Daffodils, also Peonys come up. Soon after come the roses, and by the middle of May, if it's warm enough people buy plants and put them in the ground. The patient folks plant seeds that will flower in late June or July. That's our Minnesota! Think I like your weather better. Love to you both Sharon

Hallo Henri und Kaethi, solche wundervolle Bilder von Krokusblumen. Nr. 57 ist wohl sehr schoen und gehört bestimmt zu meiner Lieblingsbilder dieses Albums. Und auch die Krokuszwillinge sind alle sehr prachtvoll. So wie ihr gesehen habt, haben wir letzte Woche sehr viel Schnee gehabt. Aber so viel ist auch fuer uns aussergewöhnlich. Uebrigens in Zwolle gab es nur bis 15 Zentimeter Schnee. Die Aufnahme der Wanderstock habe ich in Meppel gemacht, dass ist die Stadt wo ich arbeite, etwa 30 km von Zwolle (nördliche Richtung) entfernt. Als ich da mit dem Zug am Bahnhof ankam, ich wusste wirklich nicht was ich sah. Ich war auch die einzige Person im Büro, und bin nach ein paar Stunden nach Hause gegangen. Auch der nächsten Tag konnte ich nicht zur Arbeit gehen weil der Citybus nicht ausgefahren war. Also Zeit genug um viele Schneebilder zu machen. Auch im Album von Zwolle habe ich neue Bilder (#33-63) gesetzt. Jetzt ist alles wieder fort, nur hier in Meppel sieht man überall nog kleine Schneehaufen. Hallo, liebe Kaethi und lieber Heinz! Vielen, vielen und herzlichen Dank fuer eure lieben Zeilen in meinem Gaestebuch. Ich habe mich von euch umarmt gefuehlt!! Danke! Ein E-Mail mit naeheren Erzaehlungen von der Konferenz kommt in einigen Tagen. Seit ich zu Hause bin gehe ich wieder arbeiten, aber immer den ganzen Tag. Meine Waescheberge scheinen nicht kleiner zu werden..uff! Die Guertelrose ist fast voellig verschwunden und dies ist ein wunderbares Wunder Gottes, der mich geheilt hat. Nach 4 Wochen fast nix mehr!! Hallelujah!! Ist Gott nicht einmalig???!!Ich bin sehr gluecklich und dankbar!! Mit den Fotos wird es noch ein wenig dauern, da mein Computer immer noch so spinnt, wie zuvor. Er kann wohl nun schon die Cds lesen aber erst nachdem ich ihn neu gestartet habe.....grrrummel!! Meine Kamera kennt er noch immer nicht! Ich denke, er muss neu aufgesetzt werden, na ja! Die Haelfte meiner Photos habe ich schon auf meiner Festplatte und die andere ist noch auf dem Kamerachip. Heute habe ich alles in die Arbeit mitgenommen und eine Kollegin wird es mir zu Hause auf eine CD brennen. Ich bekomme es dann morgen. Vielleicht kann ich ja am Wochenende einiges machen. Habe ja ca. 350 Bilder gemacht, Es wird also etwas dauern. Freue mich selbst schon auf die Fotos und bin gespannt, wie sie geworden sind.Seid ganz fest umarmt und gedrueckt und ein ganz dickes Fruehlingsbussi aus dem schon waermeren Freilassing - eure Trixi

Hallo Kaethi und Heinz, danke fuer die lieben Nachrichten! Es ist mir immer eine ganz besondere Freude von euch zu hoeren! :-) Ja unsere Fruehlingsblumen sind schon bald alle verwelkt, insbesondere die Wildblumen! Die Crown Daisies werden an vielen Stellen mit Traktoren ausgerissen. Sie versperren die Sicht. In diesem Jahr stehen sie ganz besonders hoch! Jetzt bluehen bei uns viele Baeume in allen Farben ueberall neue, frische Blaetter! In den Gaerten blueht alles was man sich nur vorstellen kann: Rosen vor allem! Geranien, Hibiscus, Bougainvillea und vieles mehr. Heute habe ich 'Bottle brush' Blueten fotografiert! Wie schoen, dass die Toechter euch besucht haben. Man kann sich ja hinterher ausruhen! Ja, ja, ich habe gut reden . . . . ! Ich habe das alles noch vor mir! :-) Auch heute habe ich es gerne wenn die Kinder kommen, doch ist es auch gut wenn ich mal wieder ein wenig Zeit fuer mich habe. Zur Zeit bin ich ziemlich mit Vorbereitungen fuer Passover beschaeftigt, doch als ich diese Marienkaefer fand MUSSTE ich sie ganz schnell hochladen!
