Konrad, I think your work is getting better all the time! This 9th Balkan album is the best so far. Your photos are so good at conveying the sense of being there and your captions are always both interesting and entertaining. Sorry about the smile-free village in the midst of all that beauty. Hope that as time passes they will find some happiness. ~~~~Bob

Really enjoyed the Albania, Macedonia shots. Ohrid is beautiful. Not a snake person but they were interesting too. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from New York.

Sorry hit the button before done! #39 are excellent. Great job slipping her into the image. 45 is my favorite! She is one gorgeous babe. She looks more dangerous than the male. The river Crni Drim is very lush and gorgeous. #64 I can even see the little puff of smoke coming from the chimney. Great trip Konrad and thanks for the invite! Eti

As always you are very good at taking us through your albums with commentary and leading sentences. The images are very crisp and clear with nicely saturated colors. I enjoyed #9 for the compostion and teases of yellow and red. #14 is certainly an image viewed from many perspectives! I like how you cleared up any misperceptions. Good job separating the layers in #19. #20 nice depth of field and again how you show the lizard in its habitat. The viper shots were great. The snake actually looks dangerous.Snake images #11

Believe it or not, I have never visited Ohrid! Shame on me! Thanks for your great insight! I really enjoyed the virtual tour! Albania was also extremely interesting to see, I especially loved the photo "a desolate object of the communist past...", awesome! Greetings from Belgrade! Jelena

G'day Konrad and thank you for this fascinating tour - the maps are a great idea too. My favourites are the first in the album of Ohrid Lake, the Old Town Alley, and Cliffs on Southern Shore of Ohrid Lake. The clarity of the snakes and lizards is great. Thank you for sharing. Lorraine, Australia

Hey Konrad, My granddaughter and I were just looking at your album. She is 8 years old and said your album is cool. She liked the snakes and lizards. Also we could not find the snake in the grass. She also liked the country side. I like the first picture, Ohrid Lake, and the lake and cliffs. It is a beautiful country. My granddaughter said the clouds were pretty and that you did a good job. Thanks for the invite. Caroline Louisiana USA.

Konrad, As usual, another great album and plenty of history in your photos/descriptions. The viper photos are close enough to raise the hair on the back of anyone's neck-hope you had a telephoto here? Who was more scared, the snake or the photographer? Thanks for your invitation, do appreciate knowing where you're shooting. What's next on your slithering experiences? Greetings, Ron/Oregon Coast

Really enjoyed my visit, always learning something here. Keep it up, am looking forward to some "MORE" albums... Trudy-Oregon
