Calhiker, Bishophiker and Snow Nymph dayclimbed Panamint Butte (6,584') in Death Valley. We all agreed this was the hardest desert hike we'd ever done. But because we couldn't see how steep it was, we kept on going. We all felt good about bagging this

  • This hike was kewl!! But now I wonder what the views are like from the summit. I know, we'll go back in mid-July....no clouds, guaranteed, lotsa sunshine. Only problem is, the temp will be more like 134 degrees instead of 34 degrees!! What a crazy place.... 8^)
