WOW Eric, what a fabulous album. Your opening shot is fabulous!! You have certainly travelled a few miles to put this great collection together. I am very impressed. I love trees myself, just have never gotten around to taking photos of many. Having said that I do have an rather interesting one in my 'Hadrian's Wall' album if you ever get the chance to take a look. Thanks for taking a peek at my Roma album. I am curious to know where you will be on holiday for 3 days in November. Please let me know. Could it be the 'Eternal City' by any chance? When do you go on your first cruise? Thanks for comments about my golf pictures -- which you wandered into from Peru I suspect. I think the European golfers are really a classy bunch, especially the Brits. We attend the Ryder Cup and at least 2 Majors a year and it's hard to root against any of them. Luke Donald is probably my favorite EU golfer -- just a great kid, with a great attitude.

Hi Eric. You certainly love your trees and for this reason it is a very good thing you haven't had to be anywhere near this part of the world in such ages - with developers only seeing the $ signs, hence their endless clusters and monstrosities - we have landed up watching almost every tree countrywide being hacked down with absolutely no thought of the total destruction of our natural surroundings. I believe Cape Town is now very close to being equally as bad as the rest of the country - a great, great pity. I am so glad you mentioned your ericy102 gallery to me - you have certainly been to some of the most glorious of places on your travels and I do quite envy you - but having the opportunity of becoming a part of them with the sharing of your wonderful talent - is enough to keep me satisfied with my feet grounded until I can afford the pleasure of another flight to freedom!
