Based on photo Photo 42 of 59 it looks more like a red tell Hawk, and if this is the same bird as for No. 40, it is NOT a peregrine.

I love your pictures, however I'm almost certain that the bird in Photo 40 of 59, is not a peregrine falcon, it's hard to tell from the photo but it looks more like a hawk. Peregrine falcons have unique markings, of which this bird had none. Again, thank you for sharing such diverse pictures.

Hello, So glad you spent some time taking these pretty pictures of the falls. Its always been one of my favorite places. I've only posted one photo of it, taken after stomping through deep snow, and the ice appears blue. Thanks so much for your kind words in my guest book. Going to view your mountains, I'm sure there will be more of my favorites there too. Gloria

Had enough of the desert atmosphere today cool mountain streams and long lucious waterfalls of that most diverse and beautiful State of Oregon. Hi Amy, come for my fix a little bit late today, usualy I get up between five and six o'clock but this morning it was almost eight, the day has gone before I even get up. These really are so beautiful, there is always soething that draws people to waterfalls, if ever we are anywhere near them we always walk sometime mile to set a sight of one. Is it because of the relaxing effect of the water, pouring over the edge or is it the restless spirit in me wanting to flow like the waters, I'm waffling, waxing lyrical, or in plain English and has her indoors says, Ken shut up. Don't want to remind you of cool waters and home but its your album lol, be good take care and a couple of bug hugs, Ken

I was driving home to Washington from my duty station in Cali and I was in a bit of a hurry and I contemplated stopping at the falls but I decided against it until I drove past it and saw what Multnomah looked like then I made a U-turn at the next exit and had a great time taking pictures. Didn't make it up to the top due to my time limit but it sure was worth the extra hour I spent taking pictures!! If you'd like to look at my pics they're under my first album navywashington. I really liked yours, they were really vivid! ~Marie
