    • Hi - It looks like we have been to many of the same places...Gorman and A.V. in 2003, and Carrizo Plain this year! I wish I could have visited Death Valley and Joshua Tree...but maybe next time! I also went to Anza Borrego and Shell Creek Rd. in San Luis Obispo County.     • Such beautiful pictures! They made me home sick for the Antelope Valley. Lived there for 10 years in the early 1970's and loved the scenery. But once a Kansas...always a Kansas so we moved back here in 1992 but I still miss Lancaster! I'll look forward to more of your pictues. Best wishes from Shirley in Kansas

I just returned from a trip to southwest USA, and saw many of these flowers, but I did not know their names, so thanks for naming so many of them.
