Great job caputuring the wild flowers of CA. I just read that Death Valley received an inordinate amount of rain this year and the normally dry areas are filled with desert blooms. Congrats on your feature! Eti from Florida

I just returned from a trip to southwest USA, and saw many of these flowers, but I did not know their names, so thanks for naming so many of them. Such beautiful pictures! They made me home sick for the Antelope Valley. Lived there for 10 years in the early 1970's and loved the scenery. Hi - It looks like we have been to many of the same places...Gorman and A.V. in 2003, and Carrizo Plain this year! I wish I could have visited Death Valley and Joshua Tree...but maybe next time! I also went to Anza Borrego and Shell Creek Rd. in San Luis Obispo County. What a treat our wildflowers have been this year! Thanks so much for sharing the beauty through your eyes.
