  • When I said how long to the NEXT album I didn't necessarily mean today!! But aw, Em, no one has ever dedicated an entire album to me before. I once had a rose dedicated to me by the ever delightful Galit and Weezie HUNG me in her gallery of Webshots users (which was fine except she put me right next to Al!) and talking of Al he, in his usual humble Canberran manner said - and I quote - Hey mate, I'm starting an album of pics by Webshots buddies and I want some mug to do the first bounce down - you'll do - unquote. So this is a first and I am suitably honoured. Which leads me nicely into something on which I must take issue with you. The two words in question are HUMOUR and HONOUR!! If our friends across the ocean prefer to leave half the letters out that is their perogative but you and I don't do that - do we? Remember, we Aussies have to set an example to the rest of the world. To demonstrate our superb traditions of sportsmanship (as displayed by our noble cricketers and worthy, selfless, footballers) But to go back to this album, sunrise is uncharted territory for me which makes it doubly nice to see it through the eyes of a sleepwalking artist. If this is a normal sunrise then maybe I shuld make the effort and get up in time to catch one because it is just wonderful. A full range of colours (note the letter u there Em!!) and wonderfully clear and sharp. Indeed an album to cherish and I thank you deeply. More from you next month, did you say???? LOL Peter

Keep up the good work and I think often of you and your early morning walks and the photo's you share. Larry in Bolivia

  • Hi Em, I am so happy that you are back - at last!! Actually, now I have a very busy time. 9 more days to go till I'll get a little more space. Then I will look at all the other new albums! Wow! Your were busy!!! I looked at your bottle brushes - - - they bloom here right now and will be in MY next album! This album is very special! The pictures are tremendous beautiful - but most I love, that you dedicated it to this great guy! When I looked at the first message in this guestbook I had to smile: now even Peter entered the competition in writing long, long messages..... Thanks for looking at my album with those ladybirds and yellow Daisies. Yes, I think too, that yellow is a wonderful color! - That's why I have a yellow car!!! :-) I am thrilled that you like the picture 'still a beauty' you describe exactly what I thought when I saw it! :-) About the 'Mystery tree', the flowers are not so small. They have a diameter of 12 - 15 cm! Em, I'll be back! Lol Galit

  • HOwzat Em, This album is full of spectacularly dramatic skies! So intriguing and brings an atmosphere of mystery to mind! A fabulous presentation of the amazing skies above that we are blessed with viewing daily. Terrific job and many thanks for sharing! Also a warm thank you for taking the time to view and comment on my feature album in May, greatly appreciated! Have a wonderful spunky day with loads of smiles heading your way, amy

  • wow, this is one of those moment you are lucky to carry a camera. Marvellous shots, Em. But I still would trim some of the pictures, those with too much redundant shade, and probably remove some of the less spectacular ones in color and shapes in order to increase to overall quality. Don't worry about my snake passion. I am a well experienced herpetologist (research of amphibians and reptiles). Caught 1000's and photographed 100's from all over the globe. Did a Ph.D. in biology and genetics in the US. I am well aware of the critter composition of the Australian continent. I have studied it, but never visited your beautiful country. Someday it will happen. All the best for your trip to Sidney. ... and send me your email account to kmebe001@yahoo.com
