I remember the vast fields of poppies and lupines in the Carrizo Plains in the early 1960's. It was a site to behold even as a kid. Your wildflowers pictures are really good and I really enjoy viewing each of them. Have a great day. Eric

Hi Lynn, WOW! These are so beautiful. I would love to be there in person to see all of those fields of flowers. They even talked about it here in St. Louis on our local news channel. Apparently this doesn't happen every year, so I am so happy that you are there with your camera and sharing all of that rare beauty with us. We finally are seeing some Spring color here in Missouri as well and I have added some new photos, so if you get time, stop by for a visit. Take care. Love 'n' Hugs. Donna

Hi Lynn! Long time no see! Wow, you had wonderful spring photos in earlier years, but I think you are getting better and better! Such gorgeous colors, wonderful flower fields and excellent macros. I'm simply overwhelmed. Hope you are continuing to enjoy the spring. Here everything turns dry pretty fast. Take care, Orly

Hi Lynn! It certainly was a beautiful year for CA after all your rains. This is a gorgeous album, as always. I haven't heard from you in ages and I see that you do still answer others' guestbook messages, so I hope you aren't upset with me. I would love to hear from you. Have a great weekend. Sharon

WOW!!! I think I downloaded nearly all of your wildflower pictures taken in Gorman CA. What time of the year did you take those? Spring hits early in Texas, our wildflowers are usually blooming March and April. Is California later? It might be worth a trip out there just to see the flowers!!! I am going to look at your other albums too. Thanks for sharing such beautiful pictures with the world! Sincerely, Janice

Hi Lynn. What a great splash of colour you have here. I New Zealand where I live we have many acres of California Poppies. They were brought here by the gold miner who came from California in the 1860s. Bernard

Lynn this is a beautiful album. It makes me want to break out in song...'In fields of poppies'...or just lie down in the pasture and delight in the beauty that surround me! April, huh? I must make my way there some time. Like a dream... Darlene
