Thank you Mr. Paulson for the beautiful picture. I live in Ohio but was born in Trona California. These wonderful pictures really made me homesick and brought tears to my eyes. I so do miss my birth state. I miss seeing the fields of the beautiful California Poppy's, the clover, the beaches. Thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures of God's creation with us. don, you certainly are very comfortable and very good at capturing images in the desert! this is the most beautiful album i have ever seen of the desert and i never liked it until now! i am so glad i had the chance to view it through your eyes and show me all the beauty it has to offer! thank you!! and again, congrats on your stone POTD!! i actually really like taking pics of geese myself so i found it very pleasureable to view in many ways, the rest of the album was just icing on the cake for me. :)

Ever since a friend of mine gave me the link to your homepage where I saw some stunning photo's, I have been a great admirer of your work. Although I knew nothing at all about photography back then, your photo's have inspired me to buy myself a camera and start photographing myself.
