It is very difficult to capture, especially the little insects (ants, etc.), in a clear and sharp way, just because they are so tiny. But you did a marvellous job on them. #23, 28, 34, 42, 53, and 80 are some of my favourites. Thanks for sharing. The photo's of the large yellow & red wasp are of a species of Mediterranean Hornet, the sting from this insect is very painful but luckily they are not so aggressive as the common wasp.

Hi Nahalat, Nice photos , I’ve taken the liberty of naming a few of your insects: Photos 11 & 12 are Marmalade Hoverfly. Do you live in Israel?; as I do not recognise some of the insects in your photos, especially the little blue butterfly. I’ve only seen something similar in the Caribbean. All the best, Rob

Hello, I am utterly impressed by your album. You have found such a wide variety of insects and your shots are excellent. I am so intrigued by the shots taken mid-air of the bees by the flowers. And the flowers are so exotic and beautiful. Your close-ups are unrivaled and I was especially taken with the photo of the spider with so many eyes. :) Picture #49 is a contest winner - so clear and so sharp. Hi Yair - so...you did not keep a promise - and you have taken some pictures anyway...to tell you the truth - I am very glad for it! Hello Yair!! Now, usually insects freak me out! BUT, here you have provided an intense album of just lovely ones, showing them in such fantastic macros. I have so many favourites. #3 I looked at the bee in full size view and had to dwnload it. Others are: #6 Yellow Rose, #12 Bee in flight, #13 ! Pink Flower, #23, the SPIDER,#25, fly & pink flower,All the yellow bees and the Lady Bug, #32 is a WoW dwnloaded, as is 41. #47 the Butterfly, and # 53, incredible! I love this album. Hiya,Yair! Thankyou for your nice comment in my"LIFE" ; album but did you know all those photos were taken on a less then 1 megapixel camera? It was the only camera I had at the time!! I am totaly enthralled by the photos in your album here-very beautiful & interesting-wonderful work here!!!!!!! My favourite was your first photo which I intend to download because it sure is a Hummmmmdinger of a photo!!!!(Laughing)! You caught that Bee in perfection....amazing!!!! Hullo Yair. May I say that your insect photography is amazing. I particularly like number 4, with the bee hovering just to the right of the plant. I downloaded number 6, the beautiful yellow rose with I forget what was on it. I love your insects and flowers in this album. Thankyou for sharing. Cool! The bug in the first photo in page three caught my eye. I see bugs like that around our garden in the Blue Mountains. I do like the daddy-long-legs and the jumping spider. Thanks for your comments on my spider photos. Cheers, KT :-)

Hi Yair: we were delight"ed to see your album, with beautiful macros of small animals living with/around us. We know from experience how difficult it is to approach flying and mostly alert insects (more chance with snails!).
